Using that logic Gravity is just a theory and you can't really proove anything. I mean, can you touch gravity? You can observe it's effects, but not gravity itself. Similarly, many of effects and causes for evolution can be readily observed. It's just that recorded history hasn't been around long enough to document the process. The fossil record strongly supports the theory of evolution, and the primary cause, Natural Selection, has been observed in the wild. Yeah, the case for gravity is stronger, but I would have to say that the evidence for evolution is overwhelming. In any respect, evolution isn't a law like gravity is. Evolution is an idea of what could have happened in the past, and what might happen in the future.
My nanobots are yellow with blue pinstripes on them. To the naked eye en mass they look like a lime green... until they rise above in a writhing sea of death and destruction and become stained with the blood of the innocent!!
Is eclipse a good IDE for web development? I thought it was tailored for Java, and I don't think this guy is doing Enterprise level JB or anything like that. Please enlighten me!
I'd support government regulation/surveillance if there was another independent group set up to audit/check up on them. I think the main privacy issue is that the information the agency gathers would be use maliciously or unlawfully. Having an independent auditor should remedy that.
I live in Rochester, NY, one of the highest deaf per capita regions in the world, and several of our theatres show open captioned movies. There are generally one or two movies playing that are Open Captioned, and are generally playing at the same time as their non-captioned counterparts. It's all about supply and demand.
Am I the only person who's never seen an aurora? Everyone keeps mentioning how they can't imagine what it looks like on other planets... well I can't imagine what it looks like on ours! I need to get out more.
It started out promising with the double clicking of the doorbell, but then went awry. Ok, lots of times software isn't properly designed. There's feature-creep and communication problems can often result in a product that is unuseable. Talk about stating the obvious in a completely half assed way. And even look at the article's point that there have been 5000 years of architectural evolution. They ommit that 5000 years is orders of magnitude more time to evolve than software has had. Ugh...
It'll look like crap and will deminish property values. If you've got neighbors, they'll hate you for it. You'd have to give me a boat load of cash to even consider it, but everyone's got their price. What's yours?
Agreed, and beyond that a little thinning of the herd makes developers less of a commodity. Cash money.
It's 0.8 points per 1. That's where the .80 came from. Just gotta keep the units in line.
