As long as I see these "artists" pimping their houses/cars on CRIBS I don't buy CD's.
The only artist that will get some money from me is the street artist.
He, what can I do if they tell me to "Steal their Album", but serious that was one of the few CD's I bought in the last year.
If you go to ftp.sco.com you are asked for a userid and pw. Just leave everything blank and press OK and you are in.
So did they remove the IP license? There is Legal Notice in the Root Dir:
NOTICE: SCO has suspended new sales and distribution of SCO Linux until
the intellectual property issues surrounding Linux are resolved. SCO will,
however, continue to support existing SCO Linux and Caldera OpenLinux
customers consistent with existing contractual obligations. SCO offers at
no extra charge to its existing Linux customers a SCO UNIX IP license for
their use of prior SCO or Caldera distributions of Linux in binary
format. The license also covers binary use of support updates distributed
to them by SCO. This SCO license balances SCO's need to enforce its
intellectual property rights against the practical needs of existing
customers in the marketplace.
The Linux rpms available on SCO's ftp site are offered for download to
existing customers of SCO Linux, Caldera OpenLinux or SCO UnixWare with
LKP, in order to honor SCO's support obligations to such customers.
>> somewhere sunny like Holland.
HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAA
That is funny, do you know where holland is located?
This year sofar Holland had 1843 hours of sun. But it was an extreme sunny year. The Dutch average is 1523 a year.
Hahahhaha, sunny Holland, hahahhaha
I don't think I've ever seen someone actually call Apple a monopoly, and seriously mean it, before reading this article. Is he serious? Apple a monopoly?
So why are you trying to safe a few bugs here and a few bugs there. If you have the money to buy good hardware then just do it! Don't mind the price, that's why you are getting paid for, to be able to buy a system like THIS ONE!
And if you really want to be bleeding edge then you need to have a good MONITOR too.
Bunch of dollar saving monkeys! Spend your dollors now!
I think this is a good idea from Redhat.
If you don't like it change it.
But by making a "standard" desktop Redhat can deliver much better support to new users.
I'm working at a helpdesk. And you you can't tell peopel to start application X, you have to guide them step by step. Start, programms, application X.
By making a standard desktop Redhat will improve their support for new users and these new users will keep using linux.
