This PR wants to divide us, by presenting things as if RMS (or others) would have revealed
stuff against the linux kernel community. Of course he hasn't.
This is a trap. This PR states the obvious: Linus has not invented everything
but he has never claimed so, instead he used publicly and legally available material such as POSIX. Linus has not written everything, but he has never claimed so, instead he accepted patches from many contributors.
But hey... Isn't that what open source / free sofware is all about? A collaborative process in which everyone can and should be rewarded such as the GNU folks for instance?
What is bullshit in this article, of course is that part of the kernel have been
stolen. Common, AdTI, bring the facts, people have already broken their teeth on
it.
which 1.5b features do you miss?
Mozilla Firebird is beta software.
We are currently making a list to include stuff we'll evaluate and eventually add to Mozilla Firebird 1.0.
There isn't a macro recorder, and for obscure technical reasons, there isn't likely to be one in the near future.
That's plain wrong, there's already a Macro recorder in OOo Writer 1.1 beta2.
I also wonder which version they've used. I've been running 1.0.1 for professional purposes without big problems. And the problem I encountered were fixed in 1.1beta2.
Has anyone noticed the PNG pictures?

Maybe that's the reason why AOL is not really encline to close its 25 port and prefer to favor instant messaging.
The advantage of mail over IM is that
- you can contact easily a person you don't know
- you are not forced to reply immediately
I've been spending hours and hours to write patches for Mozilla as an individual contributor and my default browser is Mozilla, but I got disgusted when I saw all the unfair comments about Netscape.
For those who are criticizing Netscape, are you so blind or narrow-minded that you don't realize that the commonly beloved Mozilla 1.1 would have never reached its current state without the AOL/Netscape cash?
The majority of the strongest Mozilla hackers are paid by Netscape and even if many of them have come from the open source community, Netscape gave them the opportunity of being paid for working full time on it.
And what about the dozens of computers (tinderbox.mozilla.org) that are running 24 hours a day to detect perf/build regression?
And who gives the money to run the ftp servers? the news server? the bug database?
I agree that one can criticize the way AOL/Netscape want to get their money back. Turning off the popup blocker may not be a good idea. But it's definitely non sensical to say that Mozilla is better than Netscape: Netscape uses Mozilla as a development build.
Please, don't forget to be grateful to Netscape for pushing the standards and giving us the possibility to hack a browser to fit to some extent *our* needs that are clearly different from Netscape ones.
May the trolls keep their feet on the real ground.

Ah yes!
The ones who captured Bin Laden and Mullah Omar in afghanistan!
this site does not seem to be official. I would be really cautious if I had to press the donate button...
