Why not just buy....
1) Cheap indoor-safe propane heater. Fuel is sort of cheap and easy to store. You can just heat the rooms you need. I don't know were you live but I doubt in 8 hours your house would loose that much temperature that it would be dangerous maybe just chilly.
2) A small gas generator for other electrical items. You don't need to store as much fuel as you would only run a fridge, etc.
Done for $200-500
I work in baltimore, and have stepped over these tiles. I always took note of them because they made no sense, and didn't look like ordinary "road repair" graffiti. Strange...
Despite what you read on discussion threads, the PS2 and GameCube can coexist harmoniously. As a matter of fact, I have domesticated both my PS2 and GameCube so well they sit right next to each other even sharing the same TV!
Looks to me more like Adobe is pushing Dell hardware. At the end of there "in-depth comparison" they have a Buy Gear link which *gasp* links to an order form for a Dell PC. The MHz stuff aside, Adobe's snub of Apple and pushing Dell hardware is not good...
Jeez, using Steve Job's logic... Since I can drive a car, I'm perfect for the board of directors at Ford.
So what he can use FCP!? What is he going to do for Apple? Gore is seen as a dope in most circles.. I got tired of him between the hanging chad fiasco and the internet comment fiasco...
Only seems like more fodder for people to knock on Apple...
I agree... What a waste of money and time. The strange thing is I thought it would fail from the start. You can't get more then 2 people to agree on a pizza, how are you going to get a huge international effort to manage a space station. I think it was a idea best left on paper.
It is a shame, I really find space exploration amazing. But the ISS has been a joke and a financial disaster. I'm still amazed by the Pathfinder robot mission, the science value per dollar was incredible. (And we left earth orbit!)
Maybe money on Expo's are better spent on commercials? I mean people going to the expo are already into Mac's anyway, and it's more of a pep-rally. But a commercial hits people from a large cross-section...
I can also see why Apple wants to get away from the expo sales slump. I'm looking at maybe buying a Mac but wouldn't do it until after an Expo. If I after do get one...
Dunno..
Why?! This is nothing like the shuffle.

True.. But jamming cellular phones is illegal in North America at least.

But with a tiny lint trap, it sounds like you have to be around to baby sit the damn thing.

No! I don't care about people hacking X11 to work on the Z, but I don't want it standard! They are better off without it... X11 is a dinosaur.
Jeez, they should just release the code as open source. It would probably be done in a month, and run KDE too.
