What do people do with this kind of stuff after it is all finished being built? Do they actually use it? I assume most people build it just to see if they can. So you can, now what?
So I searched Google and MSN for "What are the movies nominated for 2005 best picture oscars?" and the first link google gave me had a nice list of all the nominee's for this year's Oscar's. The MSN search #1 listing was to snarkcake.com which seems to be just a blog site.
In MSN's defense they did get the results *quicker* then google (.32 to.40). If that means anything.
I thought Spielberg said he would never do a movie that painted aliens in a bad light. Now unless I am mistaken, Aliens trying to take over the world doesn't seem too ET-ish? Did he change his mind? Am I wrong in thinking that he was anti-angry alien movies?
I hired a ThunderBird to do my spam filtering for me. I understand the need for complex solutions sometimes but I would much rather collect all my mail and let T'Bird sort it out.
TV is a productivity and social interaction sink.
Tell that to the thousands of Boston folks who *watched* their beloved team make history last night. I doubt they think that TV sinks their social interactions.
A guy I used to go to school with would conduct this experiment every so often. He would ask anyone around him in each class if he could borrow a pen and of course most people would give him one. He would ask as many people he could per class for a pen throughout the entire day and then count them when the day was over. He had this entire spreadsheet about how girls gave pens up more frequently then males did and Thursdays (i forget which day exactly) was the best day to receive a free pen.
I take the same idea with magazine subscripitions, I try to get as many as I can without paying for them. So far my list of free magazine subscriptions is as follows:
No I meant for the HDTV signal to be outputted to a TV. It has an S-Video and a Coax output but I thought that straight out of the tuner (STB, ATi, whatever) it can not be SVideo or Coax. Which is why we all needed to purchase fancy new TV's with fancy new inputs.
Am I wrong?
From the look of the card it seems to only have an S-Video and a Coax connection. As far as I know HDTV can not be trasmitted through such interfaces.... am I missing something, maybe I should RTFA?
hmmm...
How can you compare a $500+ device to a $30 device? The hiptop is great for what it does, you can send/receive email in a format that actually is workable (unlike most cell phones) you can browse the web, go on IM and even SSH to your favorite server with its console app. Tetris, old school football, calendar and notes all for $30.
For a student who wants to do all of the above and have it in a cool little package that wont break the bank, why not the Sidekick?

Too many users!

I love how simple it is to navigate! The features leave something to be desired though. Hey check me out, I just wrote a CNet review!
I would like to be referred to as a RedHattie and not a RedHatter, thank you very much.

Hmmm...Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
That "weapon" looks straight out of Lost in Space. At least GI Joe in the picture seems to be pretty hardcore.

1. Find a funnel, a bucket, a breath mint and a tube.
2. Stick tube in neighbors gas tank (jimmying maybe required)
3. Suck.
4. place funnel on top of bucket, pour gas into funnel.
5. take breath mint.
6. rejoice!
Of course this system only works for every other house on your block...
