    If you switch from Windows to Linux, and found Unix style text editors hard to use, I recommend nedit. It has copy-paste capabilities similiar to Windows based text editors.

    it lacks the feature that made Linus decide to move his tree to bitkeeper. That's more than one developer can create a separate tree to work on some feature, then commit their tree to the main tree.
