I'm not certain which browsers this works on, but it does for certain on Opera. If, when returning to a page, an entire video reloads, or there are images which are contstantly used, such as on a page like this, set your browsers settings to reload from cache. Set your cache level to unlimited if possible, also, set your flash cache levels higher. All the ads blocked by the ad blockers combined probably won't measure up to stopping one Youtube video from reloading.
didn't we have some telecom companies monitoring all the network data? would not it be possible that AT&T or whomever has had that data routed through them, then to the NSA or whatever group.?
Besides, destroyed hard drives are still recoverable in many cases.
I agree, totally. While i'v found that using the shortcut, ctrl+k, to get to the search box handy, it simply isn't as intuitive as the search at the bottom of the address bar.
enables "a display to produce a brighter image without requiring additional power."
hmmm. wonder if having a super bright display that can become less bright, using the same amount of power is ok. ... patent laws are indeed becoming rediculous.. and i agree with the above post - 'knowingly let your patent get used for one year - lose patent'
I've done the same thing. In fact I had rewritten the entire agreement to include an array of bizarre demands. If only it were actually valid, seeing as to them signing without reading would not be 'consideration'.
If it were legal, I'd be the proud owner of BASF Canada.
Yeah, you'd be surprised what people don't read in contracts.
Well, when I went to the polling place in my region, I was greeted by a hot 20ish blonde girl.
I worked as a deputy returning officer when I was 18 & 19. There are plenty of people who are willing to spend a few hours in a school gym to earn an easy tax free $120.
Now, I seem to recall an old story (which I'm pretty sure is a hoax, but it serves its purpose) of the Americans who spent millions of dollars trying to get their pens to write in space, while the russians simply used pencils.
Mozilla has not failed me once. Not a single ad in nearly a year has come through. And, quite simply, its features, security, and ease of use crush anything else out there right now, imho. When I was using IE, there were times I had to just turn off my computer because the pop-ups were popping up faster than I could close them, eating up all my resources in the process. Oh, and it's never crashed on me either.
i'm quite content as it is with my human friends - and my lack of desire to conquer in fantasy all that which i cannot in reality.
on the other hand, we all have our problems, right.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I live in Canada.
If you really want to understand how your legal system works, and should work, I suggest that you read a little more about it.
And if I were American, this would be the only reason I would need:
"It is not only his right but his duty...to find the verdict according to his own best understanding, judgment, and conscience, though in direct opposition to the direction of the court."
John Adams - Your 2nd President
Honestly, I would enjoy being on a jury. Simply to negate the above statement.
That is part of the problem, people complain, but are never involved. It it your duty to see that the legal system works. If it is inconvenient for you to spend 8 hours debating the fate of another man, then you shall have no recourse when / if your time comes before a jury.
Well, I live in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Known for being both a port for alcohol during prohibition and for being one of the final stops on the Underground Railroad (Uncle Tom's Cabin is located just outside of town).
It is well known that tunnels from these times exist beneath our roads, lawns and buildings and it would be quite interesting to find out where they are - Not to go explore or to plan a route of attack, but out of pure curiosity.
I see a need for caution on the part of the authorities, but this is, indeed, overkill.

What I wouldn't give for a shot of Al Capone's finest 80 year old blend.
That is exactly what I was thinking. They have no skills, (AFAIK), in this matter, take a competition that seemed of pure intent (unbranded), throw some money at it, and there it is - They are famous for nothing.
You can get your name put on anything for the right price anymore.
I just can't wait for the new Maxwell House Instant Shuttle from NASA.
Besonic.com ? (global)
iuma ? (global)
electronicscene.com ? (obviously genre specific)
These amongst the plethora of countless multitudes of indie music sites out there have continued to serve the artists forsaken by the majors.
Canadians (and everyone else of course) out there might appreciate http://www.newmusiccanada.com
And as a cheap plug, you could listen to yours truly.
GRRRR!! After very specifically making sure that NOTHING was checked off to say it was ok for them to send me mail, and having found out that garageband are a bunch of scheming fucks, I go into my settings to see that they have reversed all my selections and have opted me IN to receiving ALL of their 'announcements' and 'lists'.
Anyone here a lawyer?
I thought I was the exclusive copyright holder of my own material. How is it that they are able to get away with charging me for my own material that I had been assured (by mp3.com) was already deleted? And @ $7 usd at that?
Seems a series of well thought out loopholes made all of this possible.

I don't see any point to it, especially since the only two reasons you've provided are "it's cool" and "our penis doesn't look big enough".
HA! But seriously, isn't that what drives most of America's silly adventures.

well then, how do you know that even a calculator uses the right conversions?
obligatory quadraphenia quote: "we are the mods, we are the mods, we are the mods, we are the mods."
Why am I a troll again? For stating my experience, and my preference of browsers?
that the article didn't even mention alternative browsers. That's just sad.

Well, my employer does, in fact, pay my full wages for the time that I would spend on jury duty.

Yeah, pretty soon it will look like a team of NASCAR drivers out on the field.
