...and who do you sue when things go wrong?

is it just me, or is this one of those really, really american things to say? just that when something goes wrong, it's not "What went wrong and how can we fix it so it doesnt happen again" but "It went wrong, sue the fuckers!" (Insert rant about responisbility, parents, and Columbine here). Why is it that people cant possibly say, "oh, I fucked up, because i didnt read the freely accessible instructions, but instead have to blame someone else? just my $0.02.....

OK, so they're starting to put mechanisms in place to keep people from entering or exiting the country... How long before they start arresting people solely on what they know?

it's gonna be fun when the government starts rounding people up and arresting them because they "might have knowledge of how to make explosives out of household ingrediants that might possibly be used in a negative manner against the United States of America."

Also looks like it might be time to get rid of all those episodes of MacGuyver that i have on vhs... :-(

  6. Re:Why no pepper-spray paintball guns? on Thailand's "Q" Banks on Rubber Bullets · · Score: 1
most likely because of safety issues. A paintball gun is designed to deliver a paintball to it's target at a speed (leaving the barrel) of ~275-300 feet per second. the weight of the thing (which would probably be altered due to the different substance inside the "shell") helps affect the accuracy of the projectile.

Now, say you "soup up" a paintball gun like you suggest...assume an inital velocity of 500 fps, and that the weight of the projectile will be the same as a regular paintball. With those factors considered, a paintball, which is a hazard being shot at 300fps (lost eyes, broken teeth, bruises, welts, and other assorted nastys), could well almost become a lethal-"non-lethal" crowd control method.

Now, if you use protocol that says "shoot at the ground", and have the tear gas inside pressurized so it will reach the face(s) of the people it's being used against, you might (possibly) have something......
