I agree. I see no problem with the way the clipboard(s) works in X. Sometimes I use the mouse buffer, sometimes I use the CTRL-C/CTRL-V buffer, and I find both useful.
But for any user that doesn't know about the middle mouse button, the CTRL-C/V buffer should work very well. I currently use Mandrake 10, and I haven't seen any app where it doesn't work to date (except VIM, like the parent said).
I don't know why so many people choose hotmail, but I'm currently searching for a good webmail (for my mother).
Is there a free email service that offers a webmail, imap access and a decent storage space ?
From the article :
IBM might consider Sun Microsystems Inc.'s StarOffice as an alternative, since StarOffice already runs under Linux. However, this is not on the horizon now.
"It suits us fine the Microsoft and Sun fight about office application suites. We stay away from that. The reason we don't collaborate with Sun is that they're too small," said Pettersson.
According to MSN MoneyCentral's StockScouter :
The SCO Group, Inc., a small-cap growth company in the technology sector, is expected to significantly underperform the market over the next six months with very high risk.

My bank's website works perfectly using Konqueror or Mozilla. In fact, I think they don't do any check on the browser, which is good IMHO. How could a website know all browser names and versions that works with it ??

Having a 1GB mailbox is useless if you use POP to get your mail... They should provide IMAP access.
OK, after reading the article, I see that they are also planning to offer imap, but still, pop makes no sense to me for a webmail.
RadioShack.ca also uses Passport logins (but you can also use a normal radioshack account, as with any other website I have seen)
However it seems radioshack.com doesn't use passport...
aida32 is a very good tool to get information about your hardware and software... (similar to sandra)
And it is free.

This is a good opportunity for Windows users to migrate to a free desktop.
Yeah, that's great. So where can I download kde32-install.exe please ?
(only a bad joke)
The version that comes with RH 7.5 is the worst paint program I have EVER seen;
I must say I was also very disappointed by RH 7.5. This is probably one of the worst RH release I ever downloaded!
"Kell fromahj" seems to be very close... I think... I'm not very good with English pronunciation ;)

You can run distributed.net, and help finding OGR (Optimal Golomb Rulers)...
