Longhorn will simply be Windows XP SP2 with a modified skin. All new actual features and enhancements have been canned. You will of course pay substantially for this new OS.;-)
I would never update to Windows XP with their insanely bloated code and crapy firewall.
Dude, by using the word "upgrade" I presume that you already run a version of Windows. Thus, you already have their insanely bloated code to some degree. However, the XP crapy[sic] firewall, switch off, you can.
Hmmm.... and what would they be? EULA's mean diddly squat in many countries and the world is moving towards free-trade.
...not to mention the language differences.I don't think many Americans will purchase a version of Windows that's in Indonesian (or whatever language they speak there) regardless of the price.
So there would be zero demand for english language versions of Windows in 3rd world countries? There are plenty of dual-language english-speaking third world countries.

Not if ATI are involved with it. Seriously. The result will be truly awesome hardware with truly appauling drivers. That, a gaming console, does not make! Great hardware is useless if the drivers are flakey. I have owned two Radeons, and have had a few years now of driver hell and will never buy another ATI product again - no matter how tempting. The Windows XP (and 98/ME for that matter) Catalyst drivers and MMC software suite is an embarrassment to ATI.
> PS- ATI, we need Linux drivers!
PS- ATI has already given us Linux drivers! And they work too.
Can they prove that these students actually looked up their status? I mean there exists multiple possiblities of other users accessing the same info. One example is a random ID generating script (not likely). Or leaving computer logged in, and pesky young brother or friend does the "hack". Can they prove that the students in question were the ones who actually accessed this info?
Even if these student applicants were the only ones that could've possibly accessed the data, what kind of proof is still needed? Or do they not require proof - i.e. they can just refuse anyone they like without any justification?
Dude, to get into law/med/art/etc school you first gotta prove that you already know the course material and are already an expert in the field. To get a bank loan, you first gotta prove that you don't need one. Why is this any different?;-)
I agree, but Disney's talking about manually correcting every single frame and for a 2 hour film you're talking more than 175,000 individual images. That is a huge number of man-hours, and frankly, there's really no need for it.
Huh? But weren't they created in the first place, frame by frame? It was feasible then, but not now? Hmmm... ok.
Disney (love it or hate) has always had higher quality images then Warner Bros. This is no exception. As a kid I always felt that Warners and many of the more modern cartoons looked cheap. This is just a manifestation of their philosophy/corporate culture.
As far as digital noise reduction, many imaging professionals will not use such technology because it degrades the overall quality of the image. Just compare samples of high resolution 35mm slide scans that use Digital ICE (which is generally considered pretty good technology). Manual removal of scratches, dust, hair, etc will always yield better image quality.
They seem so cheap. US$299 for a Roomba Discovery SE. What's the catch?
I'd like one that can be programmed to go once a week and return to its charger. If it could empty it's own bag into some larger base container that'd be good. I've heard of lawnmowers that drive out of the shed once a week and return to charger.
I really like your story and am waiting for the sequel, or perhaps the movie/DVD.
That's the error message that I get all the time when trying to use filters in Acrylic. What a POS!
I like pie! Do you like pie?
Man this program is real buggy. I get this error alot when applying filters to jpegs.

Yup! Me too. Not trying to post as AC fixed it. I guess them's screwing with the website at present.

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"
So why doesn't Microsoft charge different prices depending on the country? Wouldn't that maximize their profits?
Then we'd all buy our MS products overseas.
I cannot agree more. "Speed of sound" implies high energy, yet the track is truly soporific.
Dude, Sarge has been available for years in "testing". Sheesh.
He'd be better off with GRUB. Someone should hack the lilo source so it says "LOL" instead of "LIL".
Can we at least make a couple of 'Insightful' speeches about the real bad guy?
Meh! Bill Gates jokes are getting tiresome.

Do the Roombas handle dog hair? I've seen robot vacs that only 'compliment' your vacuuming routine rather than replace it.
Man, oh for a Ambrogio!
You need Vapoorize!

How do you reclaim it?
Blonde logic: You simply return it to the original owners.
Yeah the offending loop is actually in the intel_kickback.dll file. :-)
