Not anymore, they're just really bad at promoting it. Been using it for a couple of months now, but I only found it by accident when my credit card was compromised and I had to login to the website to add the new one. Really like it.
Ya know, there is no need to change out the transponders or clone them. They are programmable, from the cockpit by design. The ATC call goes like this: United 173 squawk 4796. Pilot or co dials up 4796 or whatever code they are given. No swapping, no cloning.
Mostly true, except it's still widely acknowledged that the dynamic range on digital camera sensors (yes, even the really expensive ones on the 1d series) is lacking compared to that of film.
Absolutely, positively 100% wrong. Here is an article that lays out some really good data.
From the article:
Conclusions
Digital cameras, like the Canon 1D Mark II, show a huge dynamic range compared to either print or slide film, at least for the films compared.
Well, rules for what I've been using it for. After 25 years of emacs
I've found it to be quite refreshing. You are right though, I just
tried opening a ~500M file and it crapped out (out of mem). Seems like
in 2007 any decent editor would have a handle on memory mapped io for large
files. Ah well, sorry for the bogus tip.
If we just could get UltraEdit for Mac/OSX I would be all set.
It's the only reason for me to still keep a WinXP computer around. I haven't been able to find any "text editor" for OSX which comes even close to UltraEdit.
What do you guys use with OSX? TextMate rules! http://macromates.com/
Plane autopilot will not stop you from crashing into the plane in front of you!

They both already have them, albeit fairly recently. http://airinsight.com/2014/05/...
Being a professional doesn't mean you're good, it just means you got paid...

bla, bla, evil corporations, etc....netflix makes it as easy as humanly possible to cancel or otherwise change your account. click, click, done.
FireWire is/was not proprietary. It's an implementation of the IEEE 1394 standard.
Unless you need security updates?
Na, you're just getting old enough that you can't hear the difference ;)
From the Apple Store site: All refurbished iPad models also include a brand new battery and outer shell.
Please. thanks in advance. ferdthebird@gmail
My kingdom for a mod point!
Although the capital gains tax on $1.825B will help.
