Not all account preferences are supported by gaim. One, for instance, is the option to not let people search for your screenname via your email address (for AIM accounts). Like he said, you must use another client to set this option as gaim provides no means for setting it (perhaps they just don't know about it?).

no need, mozilla has builtin support for disabling popups (as does opera)
Having worked on WSAD at IBM using Eclipse 2.0.1 for development, I have been waiting for this release for quite some time! The main improvement I noticed in RC1/2 was significant speed improvement, especially upon loading.
People may think Java is dead, but it is far from it, and Eclipse will keep those who must (or want to) code in it very very happy. If you know the features, it makes life so much easier. You can have your VI if you want, but when developing REAL applications you need more than a text editor if you want the software released before it's obsolete. I strongly urge you to just test it out and give it a chance - it is by far the best IDE I have ever used.
Does that mean the attack on the WTC was a noble cause, causing many to rejoice, point, laugh, and snicker? For humanity's sake, I hope this was the thickest sarcasm ever to form.
I think it's only fair we steal movies; they've stolen so much money from me with all that Hollywood trash - it's payback time!

I must say, I have the Seagate Barracuda IV and it is everything you would think it to be. It is pretty damn fast for 7200rpm and is completely silent! I suggest getting this to anyone in need of a new (or quiet) drive.
