Please let me know what bucking spring or cherry switch keyboard you can get for $8. If you mean mushy plastic dome garbage, that is why we keep old keyboards.
I would imagine less, since they were not doing something so dangerous.
The reality is though some projects that we as a society want to have are going to have such high risks and long term paybacks that the government has to be involved. If we really want to have them.
I do think we need oversight if we are going to be investing in these sorts of things.
Most of the 47% are children and seniors. One set used to pay that tax and the rest will pay it one day.
The republican party I do not believe can be saved. They are now controlled by the fringe nuts and basically kicked out their rational conservatives. The current party will never get anything, they operate on faith alone.
I thought the ore was shipped to a place with cheap power via rail or some other cheap transport mechanism. Are there places with access to cheap power and substantial amount of bauxite mining?
They still will have to monitor apps for good behavior, just not web browsers. They used to not have too, but now that iOS has some slightly more reasonable form of multitasking they do.
The phone part of my smartphone is probably of the least value to me. I could almost do without it.
Not even close to true. What you are using is almost entirely a simple wrapper around safari.
"Chrome for iOS has some pretty major technical restrictions imposed by the App Store, such as the requirement to use the built-in UIWebView for rendering, no V8, and a single-process model," explained Google engineer Mike Pinkerton
So it is for your own good, since you are too stupid to make your own decisions?
What if I don't care about battery life? What if I really need a webpage to load correctly and not in a way safari does it?
If they want to set the defaults that is fine, but to prevent me from doing at all unless I use their one true way is why I will never buy and iOS device.
Living in a hotel for a few days is a lot cheaper than an airplane ticket across a major ocean.
From NYC to London is 5500km at 120kt that would take just under two days. Even if it took 3 days and cost $250 a night it would still be competitive price wise with that flight.
Who else does high speed? A real telco that's who. You can get 100MB or 1GB service either point to point or to the internet and it comes in on fiber. Costs more than $50/month but has an actual SLA and does not have monthly outages.
I meant have the navy/coast guard to enforce it, via sinking or seizure of the vessel.
If the illegal fishermen agree to leave their boat you allow them to get into whatever lifeboat they have and you seize the fishing vessel. If they refuse you send them and their vessel into the depths.
Are the profits really going to exceed the cost of the vessel?
What sort of terrible smart phone do you have that sucks at web browsing?
If you are close enough to an HDTV for this to be useful you would be on wifi, not on 3G/4G. So data plan is of no concern.
Tetris is available, but so are games that are PS1 and PS2 level quality. In fact many PS2 games have been ported to modern smartphones.
That is the correct number of keys, not sure why you are saying only.

My model M outweighs the macbook air it is attached too by far.
I value lightness in a laptop, but if I am going to be at my desk I like a good keyboard.
These are not people getting income from the government, that is a far smaller group.
This is just people too poor to pay one kind of tax.
The working poor are another big group, for a nice example of that kind of person look to soldiers. They are often quite poor.
Learning how the real world works is of great value to someone that naive.
I would imagine less, since they were not doing something so dangerous.

That is mighty naive for 24 year old.
At 19 one might expect such a thing, but by 24 he should have known better.
At least he learned a valuable lesson I guess.
He had to know this would cost him his job.
He could not have expected anything else.
So we should never build any nuclear power plants?
All of those are built with government backed loans and are insured by the government as well.

They are Apple's devices?
I thought they sold them to people, not leased them. Am I mistaken?
Not even close to true.

Because clearly Apple or MS would never do that. I could not even keep a straight face while saying that.
If you are concerned you do know you can get android build from outside google right?
So it is for your own good, since you are too stupid to make your own decisions?

Like every app store?
How exactly is it ever going to have the windows apps you want?
If you want that you're stuck.
Have you seen the ubuntu app store?
You can't get easier and all the stuff you are talking about is even free.
Why not cook and freeze them at the port?
The same way they do with shrimp.
While you are correct it seems no one is willing to do what we need too to stop it.
Ban fishing of some species in some areas and use the navy/coast guard to enforce that.
Fishermen will have to be bought out by government or forced out of business another way.
So why aren't they sold cheap frozen in a bag like shrimp?
