    Why do humans onboard mean the maxG=1. I have experienced 5 and that was too much, but people could easily handle a maxG of 2 or so.

    f you say POW than by rights they could have been immediately executed for not wearing identifying markers denoting them as enemy soldiers.

    If you say just criminals then how do you handle rules of evidence on offenses committed in foreign countries which fall outside of US statutes
    Could have done that until they were tortured.

    At this point they should be released. They cannot be executed as spies nor be convicted criminally. Then the people responsible for both failures should be booted from the military.

    No, I was saying orders are orders is no defense. A police officer enforcing a racist law for instance, should not be able to use the law as a defense. I am saying my main issue with what happened, however is what they did not what this law said.

    I was not knocking you personally, just pointing out that for a single 30 year old male with that sort of income it should be doable. Meaning maybe not you, but much of the slashdot crowd could buy such tickets.

    I made some assumptions and they turned out to be poor ones.

    Is kiva the one that uses your money to make for profit loans to poor folks, then never gives you any interest?

    I wish someone would come up with the such an organization that offered interest free loans based on charity contributions. I would hate to think my giving made a banker more wealthy.

    That is not what this is about, what this is about is how they treated him. No law says that suspects are to be assaulted and cursed at or called derogatory names.

    Emulating is not piracy in any shape or form.
    Emulating a machine is just emulating a machine.
    You do not use a rare DVD drive to get the wii games, you use a wii to rip them to your emulation machine.

    No piracy required. Furthermore piracy is theft on the high sea, this would at worst encourage a little copyright violation. Which it does not either, since you buy the games and a wii, and use the wii to make the copy needed to play on the emulator.

    There are always games being made for consoles at the end of their lives. There were new games released for the PS2 last year. The ps3 came out years ago.

    With the upcoming STS-134 Shuttle launch, I would venture to guess that the catering budget for the press corps covering the event (not to mention the VIPs) is going to be costing more than the fuel costs to operate the Shuttle.

    I think you just found one of NASA's problems. Why in the hell would you spend that on feeding reporters?
    Let them feed themselves and spend that dough on something useful.

    Unless you make $100,001/year I don't get this.
    If you make $100k after tax, bank half of it and in twenty years you got your million. Lots of American families live off of less than $50k/year so a single 30 year old doing it should not be a huge problem.

    The PS move does this.
    The Gladiator game for instance uses one move controller for shield and one for the weapon. It is actually pretty neat. The boxing game uses one for each hand, for boxing!

    Which is not at all, since those CSRs can't improve the network in your area. You might as well just complain to a wall, would save everyone time and money since you would not have to wait on hold and they would not need to provide a CSR.

    If anything being told politely they aren't going to fix it just pisses me off more.
