    You are out of your mind. Where am I going to keep my 10TB worth of videos? Where am I going to keep the 100TB of company backups before they go to tape?

    Not everyone is you. Spinning discs will stick around until SSDs are as cheap and as big as them.

    Even us non-pirates copy dvds. My phone has a high enough resolution screen and big enough size to watch on long flights or train rides. Also getting discs out of the cabinet is a PITA compared to just picking the one I want from the media server.

    To Swiss bankers neutrality meant not discriminating against Nazi gold.
    That is exactly what neutrality means, they did not pick sides. So Nazi gold was as good as fold from the Allies.

    No, they are just very unpopular and all the effort really goes into closed source versions there of. The BSDs can blame their lack of hardware support right on there license.

    That is the same as not participating. They did not participate in the war, which is the fighting.

    No matter whose plans, it is called being neutral. It does not matter what his plans were, does not change a damn thing. Switzerland had a choice, become part of the Third Reich or be neutral. They chose the latter. Do not fool yourself into believing they had any other option. They sit between Italy, Germany, France and Austria, they were surrounded.

    Either way the war from a Swiss point of view would make a very boring FPS in which no shooting occurs.

    Depends on what you have on hand. If you have wood, you can build a gassifier. If you have oraganic waste you can make methane or biodesiel.

    The regime can import food.
    Not quite burning fields but almost as bad is what Zimbabwe did. Giving land to the poor landless folks is a noble idea, but it would have been much better to teach them to farm first. Also like when the USA takes land via imminent domain, you should still pay the landowner for it.

    The Doctor who did not think to just do this some other way. If this is not something the hospital provides he should have set it up at his house, a hosted server, or bought some service. Not plugged an unknown device into their network.

    Sounds great. He can have access to the network switch port and the firewall opened up as soon as that transaction is complete. The Hospital IT should have switched off the network port the second they heard of this machine. Well really the network ports should just not all be on to begin with.

    Xbox lost so much money 360 will never pay it back. Heck, even the 360 is only profitable in a single year or quarter case. It may never pay off its own development.

    Decent terrorists and criminals are not going to be nervous, they will take drugs to ensure that if needed.

    These are edge cases not worth wasting money on. The only real security is what you said, locked doors and a plane full of folks who will not tolerate such bullshit.

    They are still so far the number one console and unlike Xbox have actually made money year over year.

    I do not own a wii, but might get one soon for the mario games.

    I think nintendo is here to stay. MS will continue to make consoles and never really make any money on it, Sony will also stay pretty much where they are.

    No need to do that. Just drive to the nearest border, Canadian or Mexican and take your flight from there. I admit this works best if you live near one of the borders. USA, encouraging you to spend your money elsewhere more and more each day.
