I am not suggesting you should. I am typing this on a keyboard likely older than many other posters. My company now has IT employees younger than this keyboard.
My ultrabook sure does. Most of them do, just very well hidden. The Macs for example vent right infront of the screen hinge. The Dell ultrabooks vent right out the back.
I have some trouble believing this. Does she sound like the micromachines guy?
The issue I have with believing this is not the forming complete sentences before speaking, but the simple fact that speech is slow and error prone. Even two humans from the same region will ask each other to repeat things from time to time. That only even works because there is so much error correction going on. With a machine it only gets worse. Then fixing those mistakes is even slower than fixing a typographical one.
The latter two, what would you replace them with? A trackpad could work I guess, but I can't see a replacement for a keyboard. Speaking is way slower than typing, typing on a touch screen is an error prone suckfest, and those are pretty much the only options right now.
I have not had trouble with a linux install in a long time. No idea about windows, I have no use for it.
Yeah this would preclude an air like device. I wish one of the smaller vendors like system76 would have such a device, but better. I want something in the 12" size range with at least a 2560x1440 display. Higher would be even better.
Genetics determine how likely you are to become addicted as much as circumstances and personal decisions. Genetics are luck.
When I wanted to stop smoking I stopped buying cigarettes. I had always been told it was hard to quit, I had no trouble at all. My girlfriend at the time had a huge struggle.
Do you think anyone who has ever used drugs needs rehab? Even people who only indulge a few times a year?
Most drug consumption is not your hard core addict, but normal people have a joint after work, or a couple lines at the club on their birthday. These people don't need help or rehab, they are functioning members of society and prosecuting them hurts us all. Taxing them on the other hand would help pay for the treatments of the hard luck cases.
Thefts by drug users are due to their inability to get work(thanks drug testing!) and the high price of drugs. Look at what Switzerland did with heroin to see that your theory is likely wrong.
Huh? I have been on a 19' fishing boat in the middle of a pod of Orcas. This is a pretty common occurrence where they are abundant. We had them come within 1 meter, much less 100.
The price will go down eventually. Personally I look forward to meat without suffering for farm animals. Suffering for the animals is a by product of seeking to control costs, this will allow that without a nervous system that can feel suffering.
Problems/potential problems with your plan: 1. I have 0 devices that could play that. 2. That costs more than the damn dvds 3. I am not buying something to watch once 4. is that DRM easy to crack? the DVDs are. 5. Is that the US edit or the BBC version?
Screw ecosystems. Just use well documented open standards and let everyone cooperate. Just because someone has a phone from company B does not mean they should not be able to play media from company C.
Road Trips suck. That is why we have other methods of travel.
If you have so little vacation you might realize why your idea is not practical. I have family on other continents, so I can't just say I am not going.
How would we protest such a thing in meaningful way? I am not opposed to the idea, I just don't think the two of us yelling about it would be much use.
Sure, but not the strongest. This is why AMD still manages to sell CPUs for VMware setups. Well until recently, when things got even worse for them. Lots of cheap CPUs are really good for some tasks.
I would round them up and sell them. You are a pretty terrible troll. Not creative either.
So what is wrong with your life that you choose to spend it this way? Have you considered making a change for the better? Maybe doing something useful with your life? Or just ending it?
Faster than typing on a phone sure, but how is it faster than typing on a proper keyboard? I cannot speak as quickly as I can type.

How is that different than any other storage device failing?
This is why backups exist.
I believe they mean unpowered and on the shelf. That would allow this new stuff to be used in place of backup tapes.

The first one we already do. SSDs are great.

Or more reasonably, laptops could be sold with motherboards and little else. Almost everything else is already separate parts.
Try searching for that phrase. Should be pretty simple.

What part of prelim did you not understand?
The site was a location management wanted to rent and we were just scouting it.
Find one of those that does what I am talking about. I will wait. Apple blocked these application for security reasons, supposedly.

No exploding, just excited to see progress.
I did not think he did a good job in Titanic.
I just wait for the DVDs in that case.
I am pretty resistant to paying for anything that also has advertising. Which is why I will not pay for hulu plus.
No problem.
It frustrated the hell out of us when we found out. Apple tech support told us it was for security reasons or some horseshit.

So then pretend I said virtualization. I would love to run android in a VM on my device that is running a more GNU/Linux style OS.
Mod this guy up.

Yeah walking around carrying a laptop, that sounds convenient.
We gave him an android device to use. Worked fine.
