    He gave us lots of "pretty words" in 2008, and then completely ignored them and instead fell right in line with every one of his predecessors; doing the same obnoxious shit with his own special brand of "fuck you" on top.

    A website? Really? Have you already forgotten how well the last one worked out?

    How is coming down on the NSA for a lack of transparency going to work? He threw that word around back then, too. Obviously, he's using a different definition than the rest of us.

    He hasn't taken any steps, much less the one that would actually count: the removal and indictment of the sons of bitches who actually committed these crimes.

    We have have never seen a time lord change gender between regenerations, that's enough of a precedent for me. The Doctor never has, the Master never did, Romana didn't either.

    Apparently the Corsair did ("The Doctor's Wife", exposition only). So it might not be canonically impossible.

    Doesn't mean the idea's not still stupid, though.

    Whining about diversity and coming out with the stereotyping right out of the gate(and yes, it's a quote from TFA, I did check). Maybe she thought that was cute?

    I had a nice rant with lots of big words about diversity not about messing with established characters and missing the point and all that, but you know what? Screw it.

    That's a tad unfair. "Lied to congress", perhaps. "Participating in an illegal[sic] unconstitutional mass surveillance." Illegal, No. It was authorized by Congress and granted access to continue multiple times by the courts. That makes it legal. "Unconstitutional?" Maybe.

    To nitpick your nitpick: If it's unconstitutional, then it's illegal, doesn't matter who authorized it.
