I swear.. the only reason they make bond movies is to advertise the newest gadgets and the newest sexy hollywood models. In The World Is Not Enough, Bond has a suit-like thing like this that inflates into a round ball. They use it to survive an avalanche.
In other news, the world's largest interconnecting bandwidth pipes have a usage increase of roughly 50%. This is thought to be a result of University of Twente students catching up on all the latest pr0n, warez, and mp3 that is a vital part of the university experience
I'm sure it's been said many times on slashdot, but i refuse to purchase a Portable Audio Jukebox, unless it can also act as a Vorbis player. When that time comes, i won't mind shelling out even a bit extra for Vorbis support.

HTML: What do you mean, i'm not a programming language??
C: I need to kill some of my relatives.. C++ is nice, but C# is just microsoft's whore
"Bruce Schneier, head of US computer security firm Counterpane, says the research is interesting but warns that a 94 percent success rate would be useless at maintaining good security on its own."
Well.. 94% x 100 users on the network (.94 ^ 100) = %0.2 chance of detecting all suspicious behavior. Nice odds, i wouldn't depend on it to protect my network, though.
This would work fine, with windows, you know. those 'illegal operations' have a really obvious prompt, it's easy to tell when someone is up to something.
I don't think messing up anime into films is a good idea.. The only thing good i can think of that is that it will get greater exposure, but as in the case of Dragon Ball Z, Pokémon, and countless other victimized animes, is this really what we want? These animes were just fine until some media exec decided to pay the language translation & dubbing people the minimum wage..
Another interesting statistic..
