As well as the old district line there is a fast train service to Paddington from Heathrow, maybe that is what was meant - I am not sure what it is called.
Did your contract specify source code?
Did the contact specify this "source guardian" app?
Did you have a contract at all?
Why did you pay them if you hadn't tested the software?
Is this someone or a company?
Can you sue them?
My C.V. currently runs to 8 pages, I have heard that they should be shorter but never from an agency or during an interview. As long as your main/current skills and roles are on the first page I don't think it matters.
I am a contractor so it might be different for permanent applications but I would of thought that employers would be at least as interested in a detailed C.V. for permanent candidates than they would be for contractors.
When I think of loyalty, I think of the guy who works 60 hours of good work, or more if necessary, because he cares about doing a good job, and he cares that the company is succeeding because of his work.
When I think of a guy doing 60 hours or more for a salary I think "what a mug".
There is no such thing as employer loyalty, so the sycophantic 60 hour types are just screwing it up for everyone else.
Does it pollute the atmosphere? The products of combustion are mostly benign (water vapor, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and nitrogen and some carbon monoxide) and certainly much more friendly than any other class of rocket propulsion.
According to scaled composites it doesn't produce much polution. Any rocket scientists out there want to comment?
I haven't used 16 bit integers since the early 90's, on a modern pc with the number of transactions you are talking about the change to 32 bit would do no harm and If you reuse the code to record greater numbers it will already be safer (unless your numbers are greater than a few billion).
There's a volcano on the Canary Islands that could erupt and trigger a tsunami that would deluge the Eastern coast of the United States.
I don't think it even needs to erupt, a documentary on tsunami said that the volcano is made up of very badly weathered rock and could collapse under its own weight. If it did that the millions of tonnes of rock sliding into the water would send a tidal wave across the atlantic that would knock out most of the east coast of the US.
self facilitating footwear installer?
Nope, the Games industry (just like the Movie industry and the Television industry) is about the money.
Are there any decent mods out there?
I played the lost coast demo and minerva, can anyone recommend any others?
Also apart from posting a comment is there any other way to logout from slashdot?
You didn't RTFA.
The apollo astronauts who died, died on the ground during training, not in space. So the post you replied to was not in any way wrong.
Do all firewire adapters supply power or is this only available on newer computers?
Using a grown up OS like win2k and .NET I never have the slightest installation problem.

Where do you think a linux user will get $37.50 from?
Not much to go on in your description.

It will make people on the planes safer because this bozo won't be shining laser beams into pilots eyes.
