pretty much the same results here, except they said I'm in Cupertino, California, which is about 3000 miles away from where I am. and it never found anything on my network page.
if you have DRM-protected materials on your computer, you also have licenses for those materials. Those licenses can be transferred to the other computer. Or so I've heard...
I've never had to do that myself. The few things I've needed licenses for where only on my computer for a short time, then deleted.
this is a threat if and ONLY if (and when) the file format is as good and the tools are better. The format really doesn't matter, but the tools MUST be worth the switch. For a lot of people (myself included), the OpenOffice suite has a way to go before it replaces MS office on my computer or in most organizations that care about my opinion.
I can usually tell what part of Asia a girl is from when I see them. They are usually impressed by this. Call me racist if you will, but I have an unhealthy lust for non-anglo women, so maybe I'm just paying more attention than some people.
Lucas: "wow, there are a lot of bad scenes in these movies. A lot of mistakes I can fix. A lot of mess I can clean up. Or I can add a bunch of ewoks, a couple dance numbers, some dewbacks and a few ships!"
If he wanted to "fix" things, he would have done so instead of adding more crap instead. Adding crap took precident over fixing problems to the point where fixing problems can not be his goal.
I'm far from a first time buyer but I am pretty sure that the $199 Lycoris model will be my next computer purchase. I have a good server, I have a good workstation, I have a good test machine, I just need another machine for my room mate, something to play around on. I don't play games, don't see any real need for more power than that computer has.
I hope you're not. IF (capitolized on purpose) Lucas was actually re-releasing those films for the reasons you listed, then the HORRID Taun-taun (Tawn-tanwn?) in Empire would have been replaced (you know the one I mean) and Greedo would not have shot first, and that black thing on the emperor's cowl in the climax of Jedi would have been fixed.
Those things are all the evidence I need to say that money was all he was worried about.
I got tired of carrying a palm pilot in my left pants pocket and a cellphone in my right pants pocket. I got a smartphone.
It was WAY too big and sucked as a phone. When these 2 problems are fixed, I'll have another.
yes, but your question is irrelevant because it's based on the incorrect assumption that the post you're replying to is anything more than a troll.
IE will be in Longhorn, any MSN Explorer included will be a time-limited free trial at best.
lots of cats fetch. Usually the smarter ones and/or hybrids with some 'wildcat' in their blood(which are more intelligent that purely domesticated cats).
One fact that most 'cat people' refuse to admit (or believe, or research, or even ask about) is that cats are not as smart as dogs.
I use a product called "MyIE2" that adds tabbed browing vastly superior to mozilla's or netscape's. I don't use netscape because I am so hooked on MyIE2.
it's PC only, I think, but it's free.
why would Reuters go through any trouble at all to hack into some little known company's web site in order to publish their financial numbers a few hours early?
I'm willing to bet someone gave them the link too soon, put up a link too soon and then took it down, or Reuters just added the appropriate date onto the URL for last quarter's web page.
spray painting does not peel off.
do you know what a static-sticker is?
next time you go to mcdonalds, look at the stickers in the window. grab a corner. peel.
next time you go by a graphitti'd wall, grab a corner of the graphitti. peel.
not the same thing.
not even close.

btw, using Yukon as the file system will only help accessibility because every file on the system will be as accessable as a SQL Server database is now.

your post is apparently insightful, but I'm too dumb to understand, I guess. Please explain.

And I've been meaning to try Lycoris anyway.

ever.
online comics seem like a place where SVG could be of service. yes/no?

but what about those of us who make our livings writing proprietary trojans for anti-virus companies?
this was like you calling a plumber because your pipes burst.

those are vocals. lyrics are words, vocals are sounds that sometimes resemble the lyrics.
Wireless phones don't just pick up random waves in the air, they pick up signal being sent to their phone number only. So how will this work?
who will be the first artist to embed lyrics, trivia, etc in their CDs?

that is why people turn off the radio when they are trying to concentrate on where they are going. Most people can't multitask that well.
