smooth shave? I have to solidly disagree with this one. My previous electric was one of the fancy Braun models with the self-cleaning base, which I purchased after hearing the "shaves as close as a blade" pitch. Having never used a blade before, I really didn't have anything to compare to, so I just assumed it was true. However, now that I've been using a blade for several months, I can tell you without a doubt, my electric never came CLOSE to the shave a blade can offer. At least not the 4-blade razors that I've been using.

I went the other way round; I used to shave with a double-blaze Gilette razor, but then I switched to electric shavers. I think your problem is, you're using a Braun. I agree that they're pretty shit. Ever tried a Philishave? After I first shaved with that, I felt my face and was *amazed* - it was smoother than I'd ever got with the razor. Maybe a higher quality razor could get as smooth as that, but I fail to see how it could get smoother. I think a better quality electric sjaver (again, the best by far are Philishave) could help to fix this one too:

don't cut you, ever? Probably wouldn't say "ever", but I agree, it's hard to cut yourself with an electric shaver. However, I always seemed to end up with nasty red splotches, almost like a burn or rash, all over my neck after shaving.

Why don't you guys just use a friggin electric shaver, honestly? I've never understood why people still waste time and effort with manual razors. Electric shavers:
    - are quicker
    - don't cut you, ever
    - don't require putting dumbass shaving foam on beforehand
    - give just as smooth a shave, if not smoother, than most razors.

Then I just take a shower afterwards and don't get annoying itching on my face, either.

To login to my bank account online, I need the online account's ID, my PIN, and my secret word. In addition, I also now need my physical debit card, a card reader, and to enter my PIN in the reader and get back a code to enter for login. Not much chance of someone randomly getting in by guessing all those.

Hahahaha, BT's customer service when providing landline connections is hardly great.

No - it's that quite a few people, at least in the early days, and with the help of positive reenforcement from BT's advertising, thought that BT were the *only* ADSL provider. Either that or they just couldn't be bothered to do one iota of research and just went with BT. Given that unfair advantage BT has, it's a testament to how bad their broadband is that they *only* have about a quarter of the market.
