I know that this may sound kind of redundant,(read: overkill) but if you have a laptop w/ wifi and are too lazy to pull it out on the go, you could just hook up this device and keep the computer in your backpack (cleverly disguised as a book). You gain the anonymity of not "broadcasting to the world" that you are carrying a laptop.
This does depend on your laptop being able to pick up some sort of wireless signal. Ideally, you would want that to not have to include a cell phone. I guess i'm just being paranoid.
Dude, you're missing the point: Apple wants to wet the feet of College Students by Masquerading as a Creativity Session. WHy you ask, well wasn't it just last week that we were hearing of some sort of Apple ONline Music store?
I see these Ipods as a) a tax write off b) guarenteed Online Business c) a way to lure us(college students in general--I AM TECH =read: Georgia Tech) away from Kazaa....through portability w/ style.
"Looks like AOL wants to make a niche out of re-distributing older (or very slightly older) television content."
--If that's the case, then how differnet is this from say an expanded version of RealONE's News Service, a currently working example? Sure, the user now has to purchase/rent a set top box, but result is still the same: "re-distributing older (or very slightly older) television content." I guess the "access anywhere" bit is Real's Advantage.
The funny part about you comment is that we(the us) cannot launch more rockets to make up for russia's decision to cut funding to the iss Because of a Peace Treaty specifically limiting the number of launches by a country. I'm not sure what the treaty name is, but a quick google search could probably find it. ( eg. the idea: why can't we have separate missions to the iss just to bring h20 so that more astronauts can stay in the iss even with the space shuttle program is on hold--because of the treaty limiting the number of flights) So, when you say "'Peaceful exploration' is a convenient way to test new missile systems without attracting bad press," i just have to smile.
I've invested in RealOne's Superpass (newscasts and entertainment video feeds). If Linux had a *working* version of Real that could play the content that I purchase monthly, then I would have no other reason to use windows. Oh well, not as Often....I still need to run windows to use Solid Edge, a 3-d modeling engineering program for windows--for school. I do have both OSes installed though. Applications keep me from being a full time linux user
I didn't know where else to put this so here goes:
...thinking
:-D
What is today's date? now say it aloud like you would 9-11...
10/4 Roger haha

1) What % will the artist get?
...Clear Channel?! Was the concert prerecorded?
2) Will they ever include Video?
3) Here today, gone tomorrow...are they the James Bond dissapearing Cds?
4) wtf
5) New Music? probably not.
I'd like to have answers, but like the article's writer, I have no more information.
