Under Linux, I find the PDF/PS viewers to be much better than Adobe's Linux offering. Just faster and more readable text. Maybe Adobe just needs better Linux geeks.
Let's say I've got a 500 person company, we've got a couple NT servers, workstations for the employees, etc etc...
If some company buys us, or we merge, do we have to replace all those? Even though we aren't a web operation, we use computers in our day-to-day activities....
Well, they already sell Palm PDA's. They actually gave us some M105's (bottom barrel, but my manager likes his for keeping contacts and golf scores) when we bought some laptops a while back.
At their website they've got Palm, Sony, Handspring...
Isn't Dell climbing into the printer business as well, and the router business?
I thought Cisco wasn't allowing them to resell anymore because Dell has the PowerConnect line out...
It's overpriced but it works. So does that tar in the can, but the inside of your car will smell bad and get you high for about a week. Best bet is to do it in the summer when you can drive with the windows down.
One thing I dislike about the wide-format notebook

The keyboards. Instead of adding keys to widen the keyboard, you've got nearly an inch of plastic on both sides of the keys.
It makes the keyboard feel like it 'sinks in'. Very uncomfortable.
They should be spending more time making laptops thinner and lighter, and sticking with a 14.1 screen, and increasing battery life.
Look at these previous Cray systems, and compare that to what we have now. Sure, 2GB of RAM was "Super-computer" territory in 1985, but today you can walk in and buy it for $200 at Best Buy.
Satellites don't seem to be real profitable in a consumer environment. Anyone have some examples of it making $$$?
How's the satellite TV industry doing? Well, I'd assume.

Originally, I had walked in to Staples planning on buying a 17" NEC CRT, but for $299.99 I couldn't pass up a 15" NEC LCD.
More desk space, easy on the eyes, lower power consumption, easier to carry around, 'coolness factor'
Here's my gripes:
Doesn't work with the SGI's and Sun's I buy from eBay. What would you expect from 1024x768 @ 60Hz?
Can be confusing with Linux at first. Redhat 7.3 (for example) worked fine, but some other's don't detect it right and you get to have some fun. Nothing major, it's just not plug-n-play.

So you can get those damned USB devices working anyway?
Charlie the new Mac user - "Hey, this wasn't so bad to install and setup. Maybe I don't need this iM-HEY WAIT A MINUTE!"
I try doing that. I get blank stares. Even worse, they come up telling me "My pop3 isn't working my httpd sees my ftp and i can't send mail"
Do you let your callers know their conversations are being recorded??
I've always liked the the red books.

I bet you think you can "Catch a fart in a jar", too?
If you stay up for 3 days straight writing code (you get on a hot streak, in a way)
When you wake up after you crash and burn, you'll look back at the code and wonder "I wrote this?"

IANAL, and IANAB (I am not a businessman)
Yet another reason to use free software...
Well, just remember, that 50% of all people are as dumb, or dumber than average.

Just my 2 cents
Infect hosts, get them all in something like an IRC channel, give the signal....

Chicken and the egg
Why are there no developers?
You can't get developers when you don't have a large marketshare...
Want bad spelling?
Try hanging out on IRC for a day....
Most people don't realize that when they make blatant spelling and grammar errors, they look like fools.
You left out the eBay Community!
Maybe you should read the book about eBay.

I've been shocked/burned countless times goofing with PC's. Electricity is dangerous! If you don't know what you're doing, you could get hurt/killed.
