At times I wonder if comments like the parent's are just a paid troll trying to weaken democracy in America. Democrats may not be perfect but there are differences. Saying there are not does not absolve you of responsibility of the consequences of not choosing.
I wish I i could be a paid troll. I'm really good at it, and I do enjoy it. To get paid for it to boot was just be sweet.
But back to what you said. I don't know what is funnier, The fact that you actually tried to type that and expect people to believe it, or the fact that you might believe it yourself. The first is actually funny as in ha ha, the former is actually funny as in funny sad.
Both republicans and democrats tell you what you want to hear so you won't get off the wagon.
For instance why does that crazy loon Maxine Water keep screeching "impeach impeach" for? Knowing damn well there is no way in hell they will impeach Trump. It's what her voters want to hear, so she can get re-elected and keep on sucking on that tax payer tit.
Same reason Lord Trump keeps bleating on about a wall that never will be built, or locking her up knowing it will never happen? It's because that is what his supporters want to hear.
It's all about money and power. The Clinton's where charging money for political favors. They just got greedy and it got out. The only reason the democrats didn't abandon the hildibeast is she still has a ass load of political supporters. That is the only reason she isn't sitting in a jail cell right now.
Money that is the true master in Washington. Think of this, how many poor politicians are there?
It is worse than that. This is why I vote independent. While both the democratic and republican pay lip service to having different ideologies, which is bullshit. When it comes down to they both serve the same master, the one with the deepest pockets. Democrat, republican same coin, just different sides.
There was a rumor a while back to do a Star Trek Academy or something like that.
Personally, I would like to see a Star Trek from the point of view of the Klingons. Not those crappy Klingons from the discovery series, but real Klingons from TNG universe.
The streaming services have one big advantage that nobody is talking about. No contracts. I was locked into a 2 year contract with comast for tv, phone, and internet service. But with a service like psvue or youtube tv if a series comes out that I actually want to watch I can just sign up and pay for that season. Then just drop it till next season.
Yup, pulled this plug a month ago. I was paying almost $200 for a fat ass cable TV connection, landline phone, and capped internet. This was in addition to my subscription services of netflix, hulu, and curiosity stream.
The landline phone doesn't even have phone hooked up to it. As for the cable connection, we had unplugged the cable box 6 months ago and never bothered to hook it back up. The rest of my family watches netflix, hulu, or youtube. and I just watch the curiosity stream and youtube.
So I dumped the cable TV and phone, got a truly unlimited internet connection, no datacap, for $93 a month and some change.
AT&T just wired my apartment for fiber so now comcat has some competition. AT&T is not really any better than comcast but now I have a option to actually get both to bid against each other.
A good sized dog in the hallway works even better.
This is Truth. I read a study once that a home invader will most often be deterred by the sound of a dog of any size. With that being said I believe they would be more "deterred" to the sound of a Rottweiler and a Chiwawa.
Most commercial locks are only good for keeping honest people out. If someone really wants to get into a place and has the know how, a lock is nothing more than a slight inconvenience.
Still I sleep better with a nice dead bolt and a chair against the door.
Yes, I'm sure you want to believe that but facts are facts. He's activity did lead to the formal ending of the Korean War. The South Korean president stated that much. Recommended him for a Nobel Peace Prize I believe. Trump has directly met with the North Korean leader, something no other president could or would do.
If he was a 'war president' all he had to do is sit back and let everything continue as it was and eventually he would have had a war without lifting a finger.
Now what I've stated is simply fact, and nothing any one of you people with TDS can say will change it. With that, this will be the last thing I say in this thread about this subject. I'm not even going to come back and ready any replies. Simply, arguing with you people over it is not worth my time.
So he wants to be a 'war president" and yet ends the Korean war, and works hard on bring peace to the region? As its says in the book I'm currently readying, "You are as addled as an unhatched egg abandoned in the sun." An that is Truth.
Do I have to worry about this crap? I was going to start ordering parts when all this started coming out. You think I should just wait?
Honestly, I think that would depend on your needs, vs how you feel about the current crop of Intel and AMD chips. Despite all my griping about it I'm more than satisfied by the performance of my i7-6700K. Both in gaming and more mundane tasks.
If you are not comfortable with Intel by all means look at what AMD has to offer, I'm thinking of the R-2700 processor here vs the i7-8700K. The R-2700 is priced competitively with the i7-8700K and yet beats it in virtually every multi-threaded test I've seen tossed at it.
The R-2700 does lag behind in single threaded areas over the i7-8700K, which is where most gaming performance would be. But from what I've seen that lag really isn't enough to matter. Almost all game performance issues today are caused by poor GPU performance. Any modern CPU should be more than capable of feeding a GPU.
I'm heavy into Second Life, (no really why are you looking at me like that?), and do a lot of 4K gaming. So far I have never seen my i7-6700K break more than 30% on anything. Even with all the settings maxed out on the game.
If you want to stick to intel and can wait the Iccy Lake CPUs are supposed to be out in first quarter of '19. These are expected to address the flaws in hardware that intel has been having.
They are not. What they are doing is adding javascript support, which is bad enough, to office 365. They are not re-writing one of their core products in javascript.
I thought AMD and ARM cpus were also susceptible to exploits. Is that wrong?
No, you are not wrong. I would go so far as to say that a modern CPU is probably one of the most complex machines on the planet. There are bound to be bugs and exploits in all of them. I'm just suffering from a case of buyers regret I believe.
This just keeps getting better and better. "Hey, I got a ideal! I'm going to switch to intel for this build." I thought to myself. I wasn't even smoking any good weed when I did that, or bad weed. Nope, my dumbassery was my own fault.
BTW, it looks like your sig line is not true; you responded to a score=1. (Unless somehow it's been mod'd down.)
It's not a firm fast rule, more like a guide line. Besides, I find my self with a lot of mod points and I do meta moderate from time to time. I actually do try to follow the guide lines and be fair when moderating.
The ribbon system was somewhat better than Word's unholy mess of unlogical menus and dialogs stacked 3 levels deep. Compared to a well-designed menu system it still stinks though.
I don't believe you can blame this on ether a ribbon system or menus layout. I would put the blame squarely on microsoft for trying to cram everything and its dog in to word/exel/whatever.
Word isn't one the ones I use that often but I do use it enough that trying to remember where the icon is and what it looks like is #$%^ing hassle
An this would be the whole point of my statement, and the cruft of your problem. You don't use it every day. I do use it ever day and so to so many other people. Sure, it took a little getting used to at first. But after that I, and so many other people, realize that it is a better system.
Where it really shines is on my surface pro, or any other touch screen laptop/tablet. In a few swipes with my finger and what I'm looking for is done. Menu systems on small screens suck.
At times I wonder if comments like the parent's are just a paid troll trying to weaken democracy in America. Democrats may not be perfect but there are differences. Saying there are not does not absolve you of responsibility of the consequences of not choosing.

No, they DON'T serve the same masters
Not masters, master. They server the same master, money.
I understand your read at a 2nd Grade Level,
You should have stopped there, you had already embarrassed yourself enough. The rest of your statements only goes to show how ignorant you truly are.
It is worse than that. This is why I vote independent. While both the democratic and republican pay lip service to having different ideologies, which is bullshit. If its something you can turn on and off I don't see the problem with it.

I respect you for being willing to admit that publicly.
I keep telling myself that it's better than hookers and blow.

No we don't.

Both of them?
Then they won't need Steam any way.
What is the value of firewood in a computer simulation?
It is L$99 which would translate into about say, 90 cents depending on the exchange.
