  1. Unemployment Rate is higher in INDIA on No Americans Need Apply · · Score: 1

look at it this way. India produces more engineers than any country in the world. The problem is there is no work for these people in India. The unemployment rate is higher and a population nearing more than a billion there is not enough space to live in cities. At least you have the *option* to work in stores here in the US. now i am not saying every one should do that but its still an option viable or not its upto the individual to decide.

Then again we don't know what Adrian has done but from his past we can see that he was just finding security holes of course in an unplesent way.

Well in one of the comments I read the judge said that "This whole business of computer hacking, viruses and so forth is getting very wearisome,". First of all I hate how the word "hacking" is used. second tying the recent M$worms outbreak with Adrians exploits is rediculous. I wonder would if he would get a fair trial if the judge(s) are technically incompetent. I think its time cyber laws get more attention probably a separate division or something. Adrian may or may not have done something wrong. But treating him like a criminal is wrong. His methods may be vigilante type but I don't think he is criminal.

I really don't care about barely legal or 16 or 17 years old. they may legally come under the category of children but they start screwing at a very early age. I am talking about children who are forced to do this just because they are either physically forced to do it. I understand that every one's moral differs but where do you draw the line? would you like to see your child involved in something like this? Sure 16 17 18 are also children but most of them do it willingly for money and the others are forced into this business because they had done it before. yeah the definition is broad here but, I believe, the core issue is really young children who are abused.

I understand that and I have read the article. But how else would you stop these people who fuel kiddie porn? Esp the one who is sitting offshore? porn is fine but how could you even think of getting young people into a business like this. If other business get hit by it then it simply means that they are sharing the same IP space with these people who sell kiddie porn. Once they move(and if they move) then these websites would be out of business atleast in the US. If you don't deal this problem with a heavy hand they I don't think you would solve it.

Would Dubya start a war on this Domestic terrorism? Isn't America Land of the Free or is it Land of the free* with *some restrictions apply?. Fine stop people illegally trading songs but the punishment should fit the crime. Most of the people download songs because they can't afford it. If they can afford they would buy it. Slapping fines would destroy them. How many hours do you think Mom LaHara have to work to make up for those $2000. Shame on you RIAA.

  12. Too Bad on Barnes and Noble Drops Ebooks · · Score: 1

E-Books are good in lot of ways. well they save trees. I undertsand that people find it difficult to read ebooks because of the mode of delivery but take for example NetLibrary or Proquest's Online Libraries(I read books through my university subscription) are quite good. The pages are not scanned(i hate scanned books unless they are too old). and all you need is a good browser and a good screen. I found it difficult to read on the screen at first but a day or two into it I started to love it. Its may not be easy at first but people would see its advantages once a good method of delivery is devised. One major advantage, to me, using ebooks is that they are searchable meaning i can get to the stuff i want to read whithout going to the index! any one else with me on this?

Second like any other online sale digital music should also be allowed to be sold just like any other piece of junk music we buy.
