    Fuck man I have the same card ... I recently got rid of it when I updated to the GeForce2MX from a 1mb S3 Trio (internal) Canopus Pure 3D LX ? Voodoo 1 ? 60MHz ? 6mb or RAM :)

    Honestly OpenGL I find is an awsome engine. It runs and looks nice on lowerend computers. DX I personally don't think looks the greatest. I don't know when games have the option to go "OpenGL or Direct3D" OpenGL always looks sexyer ... and if glide is accepted then glide > OpenGL ;-) We all have a little 3Dfx in us

    >:( I run a Pentium 166MMX with 128mb of EDO SIMMS and a IBM 6.0gb HDD running Debian (not libracrap) and it runs plenty fast. I got my Windowmaker and my Opera and it does just fine. It also could be cause there is a 32mb GeForce2MX PCI on here. If a 533 is slow then the distro is oviously crap. Windows 2003 runs fine on my P2 350 ... surely some silly linux distro can too

    Why wouldn't you want it ... wouldn't it be neat to play Quake Or somthing of the sort on your Cellphone. This would also mean you could use nifty 3D menus (kinda like the Gamecube has) Plus it brings room for enhancements. Personally I think it's a good idea

    I like my Raven 2400 Colour, it prints txt just like a ink jet (but a little slower and more loud) And for pictures there readable. Not the best but it does the job. And it's probably cheaper per page. Since the ink is dirt cheap

    I don't know anyone who can "write" @ like 100WPM or use those flimsy keyboards at those speeds. Plus what about people who like linux servers. You think some PPC will be able to keep booted using ALOT of CPU for years and years. Plus the price of disk space for them is too pricy. You pay the same for like 10gb HDD's (mini) as you almost do for 110. Where am I supposed to keep my porn. Just my little $0.02

    Actually I find the only Spam I get is to buy "Norton" which I run linux and is kinda useless. Also I used to get alot of those e-mail worms. You know the "True Love" the screensavers. I don't get those often. Once in awhile I guess. But that's about it.

    Every type of computer and every type of OS has it's own use. Example, you wouldn't go and buy an ultra gaming machine and put on Linux (yeah yeah you could and yeah yeah you can run games) but Windows has more games. I see Windows as only a Gaming OS ... Kinda like Commodore, c'mon who here actually used it for things other then connecting to usenet servers with there 8bps USR modem and pirating games. Macs seem to be moving towards the practical internet use. Kinda like linux ... but with more corporate support. (word etc etc). Well ... my opinion ...

    Kazaa is a good network, but becoming leeched to death and corrupted. I expect it to fall on it's own soon. Most of the files on there don't work or are improperly named and the sends SUCK SO MUCH ... When I first went on there along time ago ... I remmeber pulling 255k/s off anything ... now your lucky at 10k/s ... I like the gnutella network the most ..it's impossible to shut down ... it might be a litlte slow but it all works

    Pfft ... Drake owns Debian in MANY ways. I run Linux Debian and I love it, I liked drake better but I can't run mandrake. The Distro is WAY too big for my Pentium 166MMX. Debian is smaller and faster then Mandrake ... but harder to use. In mandrake I could setup my services like nothing ... click some next's and im done. Debian is a little harder but once you get it going it's worth it.

    Uggh, dam zealots ... BSD is having the same problem linux had ... the goofs running it ... Linux is way ahead of it's time cause of the corprate support, BSD is old skool. Don't get me wrong, but I know WAY more people running BSD that know FUCK all but there OS is "stable" and "secure" Linux can be secure and all that you just need to play with it ... Face it BSD sucks

    Not all DIVX is illegal, I could take a family video and divx it and plop it on a CD, Send it to my uncle in toronto or somthin and he could watch it on his PS2. Plus, who fucking cares if the software developers don't make it ... I don't, I found a nice home in linux. So if windows and those shitty game companys die ... fuck them
