    Also, belief is mental insanity. It is deliberate holding of views despite conflicting observations. Otherwise it would be called reality.
    Welp, i guess all is known then. There's no theory or maybe that needs to be believed in. Not all beliefs are contrary to evidence.

    Hi there. I'm a consumer and i still buy desktops. Just wanted to let you know. I also own a laptop, tablet, and smartphone : ) Guess which one gets the most use? I'll give you a hint. It's the fastest one with the largest display.

    Why would the UK fear the US Military? The military isn't telling scare stories.. they tell war stories to their buddies over a beer. The UK could be afraid of the US's civilian organizations though? The Congress and President are in charge of the US Military. I mean, who listens to soldiers? nobody. People listen to politicians and media figure heads. Only rarely does a soldier make public speeches and even then they are probably placed into that position by an external force.

    The best part was seeing the Terminator universe post judgement day. We only had 10 second clips of it before T4. Who didn't love the A10s? Durable tech is so lovely : )

    I buy Steam games on sale all the time. They even notify me if a game on my wishlist has gone on sale. But i'm not trying to argue about that, lol. I do agree with what you are saying about hardcovers. I don't see why that wouldn't be possible with ebooks as well? The first month or 10k copies has some sexy cover art and costs 15-30$ (what i usually pay for a hardcover). After that they can drop it down to 8-9$ for the next 5-10 years. That would match the existing physical book model, right? They can't charge hardcover price for the paperback version forever, like they are now. People will get pissed.

    They are not paying the entire cost of the data center to host their two/three servers. At worst, hundreds per month per server.

    If you have multi megawatt cooling and fibre networking then i think you aren't a book publisher. You are a data center that other businesses will pay to host their sites.

    The costs increase right along with revenue and profit. There's no need to raise the price.

    If only people would stop measuring their penis sizes and focus on what it's used for. Can the CPU play games? without even breaking a sweat. If you need a CPU that is 75% idle while playing a game then that's your preference though.

    It seems to me that if Apple was supposed to pay Samsung 2.5% of each iPhone4 then when they were sold doesn't really matter. Apple may wish that they had been banned sooner so that they owed less.
