    Obama has, of course

No, he hasn't. He provided evidence that wouldn't get someone a driver's license in most states. That being said, Beck dropped the "birther" stuff so long ago, it's not funny. In fact, he's asked his viewers not to bring it up because it causes others to question their objectives when they pose far more solid criticisms.

Yes. He made the grave error of not simply reporting what the Obama administration is feeding the media as fact. It's sad that a guy who claims he's a better alcoholic than a journalist is the one actually asking questions.

Here you go. The total lack of criticism for Obama at MSNBC is disturbing. I'm sure now you'll make the argument that McCain is a baby-eater and he deserved more negative coverage.

Unfortunately, it seems like most people get their opinions from SNL skits and Jon Stewart.

Chances are, in a large gathering SOMEONE is going to be racist*... like maybe Farrakhan or Rev. Wright. The left has been busy telling us that our president is not racist even though he sat in Wright's church for years and not a terrorist even though he is associated with William Ayers-- but you're telling me that if there's a possibility of a racist existing at an even, it's a racist event? Who did you learn logic from, Janeane Garofalo?

    * We'll pretend "racism" is the same as "prejudice", as the left likes to use it. There is a big difference between "Archie Bunker"-style prejudice (usually born out of ignorance) and racism, which is conscious persecution or conspiracy against a race. One is protected as speech, the other is not.

I don't think fascism belongs on the right side of the scale.

a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Basically, we have a movement toward this in the USA, and the administration is far from "conservative". The last time we saw such strong fascism here was during the Wilson administration, when people were jailed for protesting our entry into WWI.* No one would claim Wilson was a conservative. Curiously, he also segregated what was a racially integrated military and made racially mixed marriages a felony! But these just shows that focusing on parties or "left" and "right" makes it harder for us to see the evil.

    * Then again, fascism was pretty strong with FDR as well; it's just hard to tell whether it was more socialist or fascist.

First of all, as you even hinted it wasn't Adam and Eve's nudity that was the problem but their very awareness of it-- which actually disproves your argument.
