    The cultures of Europe differ from those in the Americas. One-size-fits-all laws don't work, much like the environment in which white-tailed deer thrive is not the same one in which iguanas do.

    He didn't say that the stricter gun law caused crime to increase. True, it was implied. But the real takeaway is that STRICTER GUN LAWS DO NOT DECREASE CRIME.

    I clicked on this article hoping that the great hive-mind of Slashdot would turn to the challenge at hand and offer hope and advice to the requester, rather than belligerence and foolishness.

    I was rather disappointed, although not entirely surprised.

    The turkey might fit (if it's small), but the bag is so thin that it's unlikely to actually HOLD it. I don't think the size of the bag (which is much less than of the old brown paper bags) is the problem.

    Standard? Like the citizens of the United Mexican States? Or citizens of the Netherlands? Why don't you say United Statesian? "US" isn't the name, it's "United States of America".

    There is no standard, and people get to decide what to call themselves.

    Explain how you know what numbers you are "supposed" to add to the number being subtracted? Why did we add 3 to get to 15? Why didn't we add 10 to 15 in the next step to get to 25, instead of adding 5 to get to 20?

    It's easier if you get a microwave that has a steam sensor. The popcorn button actually works on those. My Sharp has one-- perfect every time with multiple size bags. Also, make sure the bottom of the microwave is actually CLEAN so your bag doesn't scorch.

    Besides Netflix, I have gigabytes of music, videos, and images I obtained legally (or produced myself). They didn't indicate whether the cap would include my uploads. I guess they'd consider backing those up to a cloud illegitimate usage.
