When SFII first came out in my town someone decided that when Ryu or Ken do a dragon punch, the "sho-ryu-ken" sounds like "Paul Newman".
So everyone started calling dragon punches Paul-Newmans to this day.
How cheeky is this post ?!?!?!
Even more relevant is the fact that China have strict controls on imported computer software but are much more lenient on software produced within the country since the company involved can be more closely regulated.
This is the reason why my company has forty development positions available at the moment in China and an apparent hiring freeze in Europe and North America.
Of course they are probably just slow in putting the SDK together and my paranoid ideas are totally wrong but if sony did put out old playstation one games for sale (ported to new handheld of course) then they stand to gain if there are fewer new games by independent developers!
Yeah but why do you have to productise the descriptive word. If you want to indicate it's a browser say Mozilla browser. Even if you call it Mozilla Browser or Sunbird Calender people will still shorten the name in discussions for brrevity (or to sound knowledgable) !!
Assuming that half the $50 billion cost of malicious hacking is concentrated in the United States and that you bear your proportionate share of that cost, we're putting about 83 cents in your pocket.
You mean every time someone kills a virus writer every US citizen gets 83 cents. Wow!! Did you guys switch to communism while I wasn't looking!
I read in a book on cosmetics recently that humans neither emit nor react to pheromones as animals do. In fact human females are distinct from other primates in that they ovulate secretly (from an olfactory standpoint anyway)
E-voting and the optical scanning of traditionally cast ballots are not the same thing. Isn't this similar to a machine being unable to determine if a window in a punched card is punched or not.
The story is still significant
Given the link between gamers and the penchant for all things Asian, (anime, consoles etc.) an 'Asian Version' would be much sought after in the west. Interesting that this is an English press release. I think this is good hype for the company who can also release this edition in other markets to be bought by hardcore fans who already own the standard version.
When I lived in Australia, both of the service providers I was with provided cell information on the phone display. You just had to turn it on. This information meant I could go out driving, get lost and still figure out where I was by looking for the 'neighbourhood' displayed on the phone in my map.
I haven't seen this functionality in Europe though. Dunno about US.

The PS2 is a console with DVD features. Now we're seeing DVD players with the seeds of gaming features. The future I think lies somewhere in between. As a start I see the ubiquitous games section on every commercial website being incorporated into DVDs. Hopefully with internet connectivity and a decent multi purpose controller we'll see some good convergant interactive titles coming out soon.
I lived in the states a while back and - at that time at least - mobile or cell phones used the same area code prefix as a land line in the area. Which meant that people were not aware they were ringing a more expensive phone therefore they could not be charged more therefore the owner was charged. In most other countries there are per operator prefixes. Here in Ireland we have, 3 networks Vodafone (087), O2 (086) and Meteor (085).
I don't know why the US did not use this system.
Not at all. You can joke about people getting killed in the World Trade Centre. You can joke about 6000 Africans dying of malnutrition related disease everyday thanks to the global economic imbalance.
You can joke about whatever you want and if a moderator finds that funny they can mod it up.
That's the way it goes.
I think that implies the European mainland. We say it in Ireland too. They probably say over in Canada in Newfoundland but it's still a part of Canada.

The Irish Independent which has by far the biggest circulation in Ireland led with this girl and her mangled legs on the front page on Tuesday.
A huge discussion ensued on the radio media. People can generally say what they want on radio here. I think the outcome was that it's OK to show "gruesome" images on the evening news after the watershed because it is the truth and responsible mature audiences should have the option of seeing all sides of this conflict.

This sounds terrible. Now I'll never do anything except play games.

It would be nice to see some decent screenshots. These just seem to be loading screens. In fact they're shots of characters watching loading screens.
......they 'll be the worlds worst blackouts when they have lasted as long as the Iraqi peoples 'powerless' miseries.
They also make good bookends, foot stools, doorstops and have many other uses like
Well many other uses.
Really. Well it's not the USA it's Thailand. It's in the southern hemisphere for a start.
What about SBS, a great Australian channel with loads of foreign news and film and good documentaries too.

Unfortunately tekunokurato democracy means we all get to say what we think, even if we don't think.
