  1. There goes again on US Gov't to double nano-tech funding · · Score: 1

Hemos and his dang nano-tech stuff. One of these days they might get this stuff done right and then what will he dream about?

    7) The Gremlin on the wing is not real. The Gremlin on the wing is not real. The Gremlin on the wing is not real.

Did you ever see the season finale to third rock from the sun this year?

When William Shatner arrived from his plane trip, he was asked how it was and he responded with "It was horrible, there was this thing out on the wing!" and John Lithgow (sp?) responds back, "That's amazing, the samething happend to me too!"

Well, at least I thought it was funny. Maybe you just had to see it youself (I'm no comidian (sp?) or speller)

  3. What I thought an iToast was on Is the iToaster a Linux Box? Will there be Source? · · Score: 1

When I first read the title of this article I thought that it was a joke talking about this.

Well maybe it's just because I really haven't be paying to much attention to Microworkz, I'm just not in the market for something like it.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

There is one comparison I can see between the Nazi's and The Empire.

I admit it, I don't no much about the story of the next two espisodes, but from what I see, the way the Papatine is rising to power draws very near to the way Hilter came to power in Germany.

"KOI - fish shaped for the teenagers"

I'm sorry, but I don't think that any self respecting teenager would get a fish shaped computer, maybe some younger teenage girls, but probably not any guys.

  8. Re:IP masq in NT? on PCMag's PCTech Reviews Linux Kernel 2.2 · · Score: 1

NT can read FAT32 if you go out and buy a 3rd party (I forget who makes it) patch that installs a service on NT. Then and only then can it read FAT32, I would think that Microsoft would at least try to rip this company off and include a something similar in a service pack. But then again maybe they can't figure out how it works.

  9. Re:Breakdown by Application Type on 2/5 of All Software is Pirated · · Score: 1

I wouldn't be so sure about games being the least pirated. I my self don't play games, but at college last year there was a kid who would download damn near every new game (eating up network bandwidth), pirated of course, and then he would play it until he got bored with it and find a new game to play, but he would always keep the original, or at least until he ran out of space and deleted the old ones.

Anyway my point is that there was quite a network for pirated games out there, he showed me all of his little K3WL W4R3Z sites.

  15. Cult? on Newsweek does Linux · · Score: 1

While naysayers like analyst Merv Adrian of the Giga Group contend Linux is still "a cult product"

You know I once heard of a cult TV show, something called the X-Files. Anyway, I think I heard something about a movie or something about it last summer. It's very obvious that anything of "cult" nature can become very mainstream.

  16. mp3 on The Music Industry and the MP3 · · Score: 1

How exactly does one release the source of music, do they release the lyrics and sheets of music with the song chords on them? Then do you download them and complie them yourself?

Just a thought, think before you post.

  17. All talk and no walk? on Public Enemy Release full single as mp4 · · Score: 1

Perhaps if you download it, you will see that the exe is not a selfextracting zip, but a player with the MP4 embeded in it. I know you'll say something along the lines of why did they embed it in a exe, why didn't they release it as just an MP4, maybe that's becuase not everyone has an MP4 player yet.
