True, for anyone tech savvy they would know better. But what about people that don't know better and that extra ad revenue. Will that be passed back to the customer? Absolutely not.

Comcast is great. So I pay them for an internet connection, the price won't go down, and they get extra advertising revenue from there users. How long will it be until they start injecting ads into websites?

  5. Re:Isn't all government stuff public domain? on New Jersey Sues YouTube Over Crash Video · · Score: 1

Being a NJ resident myself, and for anyone else who is, know all to well that our state government is extremely corrupt. That being said, the NJ turnpike is actually privately owned in certain sections, if not all of it by now. The NJ state government has been selling it off because it can no longer fund it, money is disappearing. So it will be interesting to see what comes out of this. Aside from that, I fully believe that this falls into public domain, as it is news. It's not every day some jackass tries to fly through a toll booth, thats atleast 8 feet wide and clearly states the speedlimit is 10-15mph, at 90mph+ and blows his/her car up. Especially after our own Governor was almost killed a month or so ago in a car crash because of excessive speeds, this video should be used as a PSA. Even if the video was stolen, it is still news worthy. It's not like anyone would have known this video existed outside of the NJTA and could have made a formal request for the video. They probably have videos that make this one look like a fender bender in comparison.

This is great for when Valve gets hacked again, instead of them losing all there customers information, they can also lose all their money. I also bet the US Government would love this, the minute some jackass 13 year old kid loses his parents house.

I agree and disagree, but you have basically become a believer in Marxism. Without carpenters you wouldn't have a house. Without people working on assembly lines you wouldn't have computers or cars. I did IT in hospitals, they need us just as much as we needed them. It eventually falls full circle.

I respect everyone. Respect is lost not earned.
