But also the (non-optimal) pattern strategies that humans use and researchers ARE STUDYING (and have done for some time) are very difficult to emulate.

I am not an american. I don't watch ANY of your 24 hr news feeds for my news. They are all corporate driven media and biased in their own way.
Try watching BBC or some other respected non-US news source once in a while to see what else is out there - you may be very surprised.

And taking your smear to the full extent I feel compelled to say I also don't like either of your 2 political parties either - I think they are both complete shit and find your whole political system a complete farce and a bad joke as do most americans it appears. (and believe me I wish I could afford not to give a toss about it but you keep spying on and invading on other countries!)
Again, try investigating another well respected democracy etc...

Not that any of them (countries or news orgs) are perfect but none of them are as blatantly biased as Fox news. And that has been PROVEN with leaked memos and other analysis much of which has been mentioned on this very site.

So you might really love what Fox news has to say (and really it boils down to that, doesn't it) and YOU might find their sources beyond suspicion but I suspect you had no problem believing Bush and Cheney[Evil tyrants.com].

    As I said...naive....

  12. Nevertheless, why would it be ok for an "official" journalist to do this?

    I totally agree with you.

I would argue the distinction has ALWAYS been unworkable its just that the internet has made it more obvious.

Although I am sure corporate media organisations will disagree...but fuck them.

And if this gets overturned or is not the case in other countries I would suggest that bloggers form a collective media organisation - Independent Media United. :)

In reality this is 8.2 - just that you have to pay for it.

This is the same stunt they successfully pulled last time with Vista. Release a terrible OS that does not deserve to see the light of day. Patch it to fix all the problems but add some GUI and incremental changes to make it look different. Rebrand it a new version and get the early adopting suckers to pay twice and give everyone else the upgrade pathway they wanted.

It used to be called a major service pack and it was free in the days of XP, but this time its a "new version" and you pay. They early versions of windows have ALWAYS sucked until patched but at least they had the decency to fix them for free!!

So that is why they are coming so soon and that is why every second one sucks - its the same good ol' M$ "release the beta" marketing plan only upgraded to supervillain levels of evil.

He is invisible because you cannot see him. That whole Jesus thing was a bizarre and very temporary manifestation with many conflicting theories as to what exactly he was even among the faithful.

He is everywhere so in the sky too. Also that was a metaphor as you well know.

You are only forgiven if you ask for it. And what exactly constitutes someone who goes to hell is likewise extremely vague and conflicted. I was told as a child the very strict version of that myth and was not limiting my sentiment to christianity. (because none of the religions have any more truth to them that each other - even the fringe ones)

But if it provides you comfort to believe in that nonsense then feel free to go ahead.

But likewise don't expect me to do anything other than find you crazy and point out how ridiculous your position is and use it is the best and most extreme example we have of how people believe in all sorts of crazy shit when told by some other crazy as shit person with no evidence whatsoever to back up their position.

Your ilk don't get the privilege of being nuts in public and have me not comment because you have not earned it. And considering how much harm and damage religion has caused over the years I would argue any example of it has not earned the right to exist and not be publicly vilified.

So I will use the sheer insanity of religion as a metaphor, example, counterpoint or any other literary device for whatever I deem fit. It deserves far worse than anything I could ever give it.
