: hello! you think the shareholders and CEOs care about some stupid kids shelter? they will put on a show because it makes them look good and increases profits, but other than that the studio is about making M O N E Y not about building a better society, not about being nice to kids and old people, not about caring about peoples feelings or any of that other garbage. its about cash, dollars, value, stock price, power, etc etc. dont forget that.

    Whats wrong with that?

"PI is also bestowing awards to recognise the work of individuals who are active in the protection of privacy."

Ron Paul should get that one, he's been pushing through alot of pro-privacy bills in the house, and is often the only republican who votes against anti-drug legislation as well.

: You might say "it can't happen here" (I'm assuming you live in the Ewe Ess of Ay), but that is a sadly mistaken assumption; it really can happen here, but only in a modern, spin-doctored, blow-dried, media-savvy (or media-owning), red-white-and-blue apple-pie fashion. Maybe we're well on the way there. Just like many Depression-era Germans, we won't know what hit us until well after our bodies are covered in welts and bruises.

Yeah we're well on the way there, you ultra-left and ultra-right republicrats have been making it happen gradually now for quite awhile..

: Pretty soon, you're gonna have clusters of thousands of Windows NT 5 servers, and all you dorks will be fawning over *them*.

More like laughing my ass off, because due to the instability and inefficiency of NT those clusters are _NEEDED_ in a bunch of instances.

: PS: the NASA budget is less than 1% of the national budget
