That site seems rather out of date.
The Tc1000 isnt as standards based as the Tc1100. For kicks I tried debian and mandrake on a Tc1100 with little success, maybe we need a linux guide for newer tablets to lure in windows-only-persons.
I took some slides for a yearbook production in town, and try as I may: Windoze, Linux, BeOS, anything, they all came out terrible. Using a flatbed scanner with Slide Adapter just doesnt produce great results. Period.
All those in favor of wearing a grey and blue torpedo on their wrists and calling it a PDA, say I. In other news you can buy a nice pocket sized device that wont make you look so odd when you check the time....
Why is it that the (currently) most controversial method of broadband internet access gets symmetric speeds by default? Are power companies the only ones to realize that it makes sense to give identical upload and download?
"The hack works by reducing the power supply to a poorly functioning switch."
You know, they could just tell the rover to use its ACPI functionality and go into standby and spin down its hard disks....
They are planning to start soon trying Linux on the desktop:
The subject would suggest that it has been chosen to switch to Linux, but as we can see they are just going to be 'trying it'. How many people have 'tried' switching and given up under pressure from Micro$oft?
This discussion seems to be quite related to life these days. Try switching an operating system and there is a solid split between yay and nay. My school is a great example, we had a Win2k Webserver and the principal was wondering why we should move a webserver off of windows! =]

After all, who wants to use a service where song downloads are not guaranteed to be of decent quality and virus free?
Do your laundry, vacuum your floors, and wipeout internet for your neighborhood all in one foul swoop. Sounds like bad news to me.
