    Man, you really have no idea what a real search feature is like; it's so much more than searching a list of chached paths.

    The new solutions collect metadata about files and entries in integrated applications (music playlists, addresses and calendar applications etc) and let you search them with varying scope. These databases are updates when new data is created and is in no way limited to files or text.

    It shows the Google and Apple stock, both doubling in the same timespan, following each other. Coincidence or striking the heart of the technology bounceback?

    No, the idea has never really been to put people into space; there are too many problems with this. As noted in the article, the time of the travel and cosmic radiation is a large problem with human transport in elevators. Even more so in the earth case, where we have the van Allen radiation belts. With the elevator in place at the earth, we'd have a tremendous goods shipping facility. Human travel comes much later.

    You are not quite right, mister.

    Actually, Apple recommends all developers to write resolution-independent applications. Apple could, in fact, make OS X 10.4 totally vector based - if they only make sure their frameworks do only vector graphics.

    Are you sure about that? Supporting WMA playback is one thing. Supporting each different DRM version of WMA from each of the different (and in comparison very small) music stores is completely a different thing.

    You know, they have three servers. Two are cheap-failing-hardware-nuked, and then's the one always pulling off the job. IIRC the webserver still serving, never has had a faliure like the other two... And btw, give me a *star* for donating. :)

    This might be one of the reasons we have to wait this long for an update, Apple will have to rewrite the interface to go together with osx, the apple i-suite and keynote and so on.. AW really has to be a great product when it comes out as new; a crappy new version of AW will only show us it's dead.

    One more reason AW should come out new & strong now (but not sooner) is that the MS-contract is up...

    I would sugggest that you look at the source code (beacause that's what it is really, code to example features) and modify the code to invert the charset, which leaves spaces where it's white, thus playing nicely, with right brightness on white terms.
