If it were up to me, I'd push for Photoshop to have a more tablet friendly mode (as in Wacom tablet, not iPad or Android tablets) and get rid of the subscription model.

I use PS with a Wacom tablet, Intuos5...seems perfectly tablet friendly to me? What types of problems are you having with it?

Well, I keep seeing them extend deals for folks to join the Creative Cloud....over and over again, which tells me, that they haven't reached market penetration they'd predicted.

I know on a number of photographer forums, I constantly hear people griping about not wanting to rent their software, and are not at this point, moving past CS6.

I'm personally sticking with the CS6 Production Premium suite I got for the educational pricing, and believe that will last me a number of years to see how this plays out, and if Adobe relents on the rental only software paradigm.

I know there are some fanboys that love CC, and for some it is a good fit. I do hope Adobe relents at some point and allows for stand alone versions again. If not, they I hope other tools stand up and maybe try to put offerings in place that would supplant Photoshop.

Heck...Adobe needs some competition in this realm anyway, long overdo.

I actually wish some other corporate types would throw money and resources maybe into GIMP, since it has a decent start, and have it fully developed into a PS competitor.

Here's a few changes that would reduce the intrusion of government into your daily habits: Quite driving on roads; drinking clean water; breathing clean air; eating food inspected for its safety; quit using products inspected for safety; eliminate from your thought process that if something terrible goes wrong you can just call the: fire department, police department, or other emergency responders; quit taking medications that have been tested for safety; quit using the post office, the internet, tv, cable, satellite services.

You know...I think most everyone would be tickled pink if our government would stick to and ONLY be involved in such activities that I think we can all agree on, are helpful, and non-intrusive to our personal lives.

Past these things...for the most part, we need to reign govt back in. We don't need them for everything we do in our daily lives. We certainly don't need them sweeping up, keeping and analyzing metadata from all our communications.

Nope, never said that. Sure, previous administrations have always attempted to shun bad attention, but the present one, I've observed, has brought this capability to new heights. They have not owned anything, and have been quite successful at shifting blame and/or distracting attention away from scandal and wrongdoing with "ooh...something shiny".

The only stink that has somewhat stuck to them so far, is Obamacare....that seems to still be holding and try as they might, they have not been able to even shake the media from it, and the general media usually is quite friendly to the current administration, and has been since the beginning.

And this is a perfect example of how, if you repeat your false story enough times, people will believe it. The IRS office in question flagged groups from all over the political spectrum to determine if they were engaging in political activities that would prevent them from being tax exempt charities. Yes, they used "Tea Party" as a flag for further investigation, but they also used "Occupy". They were attempting to enforce the law passed by Congress, albeit in a very bad, possibly illegal way. For the record, they started these investigations after specific requests from Congress to make sure these nonprofits weren't breaking the law. But the House very carefully tailored their requests to make it appear that only conservative groups were targeted, and attempted to supress testimony that demonstrated groups from all over the spectrum were affected. Once the full testimony transcripts were released, the press realized there wasn't really much of a story and mostly dropped it. But low-information voters like you never bothered to follow the story to its end.

This reply has ironically enough, been posted multiple times in this thread....as if saying it often enough, makes it believable.

That being said, can you provide links for your version of this information?

One of your folks that have somewhat parroted this answer did give a link, but said link said the opposite, that virtually NO liberal or liberal sounding groups were caught up in the IRS extreme scrutiny. Again this is a link someone else posted HERE.

Alas, I guess pretty much any of the front runners for the office of President fits into this category. I mean, Hillary has her "hit" list, and I'm guessing the Clintons are still pissed at a number of people who they feel threw her under the bus to support Obama that first time around.

The search feature will get you to pretty much any random function or setting as fast as you can type. It's also a lot smoother and cleaner, snappier and more responsive.

I've gotten more used to Win7, but I still find it and God help me on Win8, VERY difficult to do simple network settings and changes. They keep trying to get a wizard to run which confuses me. I just want to simply with a few clicks find the adaptor, set DNS servers, DHCP or static IP, netmask....and be done with it.

I can do this pretty readily on XP, but takes me forever it seems each time I try to find what should be very simple settings on Win7. It would likely take me an hour to find it on Win8, and I damned sure better have another computer online to look things up online, 'cause it sure isn't intuitive on Win8 where to go to fill in these settings.
