It works for me at least.

Two things.. if you want google maps to work, you have to add a user agent for maps.google.com/local.google.com to Konqueror as Safari.
If you want blogger.com to not post blank blog entries, add a user agent for www.blogger.com to Konqueror as Firefox.

Now email google to fix both of them so we don't have to do these silly workarounds.

  5. Automation and Environment on Time Saving Linux Desktop Tips? · · Score: 1

Setup your environment to be productive. We use linux on our desktops and most have dual head systems as well. Normally we have to work on multiple products that require different toolkits, python paths and libraries. Since we use bash as our shell, we have functions that can be easily executed to switch environments on the fly, which also setup our CMS clients (i.e. cvs, svn, perforce, etc.). Write scripts that do all the repetitive tasks. ftp'ing, telnet'ing can almost always be automated via python or some other script language. You can also do some fancy ssh automation by setting up keys for your machines. That will eliminate at least all the user/pass login procedures for you.

If their availability was to coincide with the day that a movie gets released to the cinema (opening day), then I'd be willing to pay the price of two movie tickets. Somewhere around 15 - 20 bucks. After opening weeekend, that would have to drop though. My reasoning is b/c it is still equal to or less than the current outing with the significant other on opening night and there aren't any 15 year old girls hopping seats or theatre rooms talking on their cellphones the entire time.

The clock applet shows one example of using some of the bindings languages to create applets/plasmoids. Which in turn lowers the bar for people to get started in hacking away at kde. C++ is there to create applets/plasmoids still as some will require performance.

You also missed the ALI instead of KMenu in KDE 4.0. Seems your review requires more research. ;)
