That's why all my machines have all the disks encrypted with truecrypt. The performance penalty is very low and if any computer or disk drive of mine is stolen or seized, my data will be safe.
I tried everyone: GE, Phillips, Osram, etc.
All of them failed. All in well ventilated appliances, and never turned off and on quickly.
Still, my incandescents run for 1 to 3 years.
CFL's are a pain in the ass, have bad color rendition, have flicker and they are expensive.
I'm going to import some led's from china.
Yes, but a common income in argentina is 36.000 pesos a year. That translates to... USD9000/year.
A little department for rent is about 1500 pesos. Eating frugaly for a month a minimum of 1000 pesos.
Having a car? 300-400 pesos insurance + 200-400 pesos of "patente" (a tax you have to pay just to have the car and drive on the streets).
You see... we ARE a 3rd world country, we have better preocupations like how can we make all the childs eat in every state and not die from hunger, we need to stop drug traffic, etc etc... and you, americans, think we will give a shit about pirated music and software?
Ha!
I readed about it on reddit about 1 week ago.. that's were the student itself posted the pictures... all the communinty helped and discovered that it was from the FBI... and now i read this... It seems the guy decided to talk to the press,
Yes, but they do all this "free" or "cheap" things in everywhere, but when they come here, they go to a very small place, called "Luna Park" with capacity for a maximum of 16k people, when the can go to other places like the river stadium that can hold almost 80k people, they can have cheaper tickets and earn the same quantity of money, or more.
When pearl jam came here, they had tickets for $60 (almost USD 15)... and also they did 2 shows! and in a stadium!.
Radiohead is like Zack de la Rocha from RATM, they speak about freedom, socialism, etc, and then you see him driving down his bentley to his mansion...
In my country, Argentina, if it is easy to crack, the average joe 6 pack will use it.
If not, no one here will pay for it. Here a computer costs a median of USD400. And is a lot of money here. Almost everyone that pays that for a computer, uses counterfeit software. Only enterprises use legal software.
you are taking things to the extreme.
If the police wants, they can sneak a camera, ask for drugs, and arrest the one that said where to get them (after a succefull check to see if there where a real drug dealer).
At least in argentina, the can do that.
Maybe i'm a little biased for the laws of my country (argentina), but here, if i tell, for example, for anyone to asks, where to get drugs, i can get accused of complicity with the drug dealer.
The thing is that if you are standing with a sign that says "ask me for where to get movies" and you tell to anyone who asks where to get them.
That is what tpb was doing.
Knowing that in the neighbor some people "sell drugs" is one thing.
Telling everyone who asks where to get the drugs, it's a different thing.
"What if I know more precisely where to find the person in question?"
Ir i can prove that the man is telling people where to get drugs, he's guilty.
Imagine:
A notary public and a riaa/mpaa agent sit down on a computer. They search and do find torrents for copyrighted material on thepiratebay.
The notary takes note of everything.
Done, proved that tpb is guilty of that.
Imagine:
An old man in a corner... i talk to him and he tells me where to get illegal drugs, but he does not have anything.
Even he does not carry the drugs, isn't he guilty anyway?

A good HID kit, or an oem one should have auto leveling motors, so that doesn't happen.
i wonder how many bugs are in closed source handset operating systems...
No, my computer is clean. But you got to erase all the dirty memories in my head, and all the dirty things i will do to the aussie chicks here!

I don't like NIN. I like Radiohead.
when they came here (argentina), last year, the tickets were VERY expensive... almost 100USD each... impossible to buy for many of the fans, like me :(
you are so right. I have fibertel too, but i prefer to lose my internet connection, other than giving more power to the Prima monopoly.
It's not a real offline gps mode. Only the maps. For the navigation you still need to buy de licenses.

roared into the night skies over Kazakhstan? Great Success!
exactly like in my country... the want to get the BIG RAT, not the little mouse.
i was talking about illegal drugs only, like cocaine, etc.

why the use of an ineficient codec like mpeg2 when the can use xvid or divx?
and then goes ibm and says "fine, 2.7 kernel does not exist" and releases 2.9 kernel! jajaja
