Wikipedia is no longer blocked, but some specific pages (Tibet, Fulan Gong) are. I just tried accessing Flickr, and had no problem. The BBC is still blocked.
Actually it seemed to be different in different places. BBC and Flickr was blocked everywhere I tried but Wikipedia was blocked only at the office but not in my apartment.
I have been to china several times and I can't recall having seen a case of "content filtering", but then again I have not looked for it. However sites are blocked, last time I could not reach bbc, flickr or wikipedia as a few examples.
If this turns out to be true then those guys with comments like "I will be dead anyway before the environment changes significantly" do really have something to worry about.
Also it's estimated that two-thirds of the coral reefs will be gone in 30 years which is about the same timescale as the melting of the ice in the article.
Many anonymous editors make excellent contributions to Wikipedia
Yes, and I remember this article that found out that it was often the anonymous edits that added the actual content to Wikipedia while the registered accounts merly acted as a big cleanup crew, fixing spelling errors and moving stuff around.
But most of all: Make sure you're doing something you like.
Maybe obvious but I definitely consider this point to be the most important of all. You should not go into the IT sector if you just think it's ok, you should like it or even better love it.
It did not _completely_ ignore it, it mentions on the last page that many changes have been made to the kernel.

Now bookmarks always open a new tab. FF behavior is better. Left click ->same tab, middle click ->new tab.
It works like that in the panel though.
Here in scandinavia you would not even get such a hard punishment even if she had murdered the entire schoolclass.
I know she will not get that much, but even to consider it is laughable.
Some french journalists tried to do that with Surtsey in 1963, but it did not work, the island appeared in Icelandic waters and thus is Icelandic.

Anyway why encrypt everything when it is the data (and not all of it) that you want to encrypt?
Because you can not trust your system to never write this data on another location on the disk.
And do not forget the future-future where movies store 3D information.
I did the same thing for my father, but installed Opera instead. Still no toolbars in sight :)
used to think it was just poor management, but now you have open source projects with thousands of eyes looking at every line of code.
The number of eyes looking at a random sourceline is probably quite low. That you can look at it does not mean that many do so.
I won't give away the ending, but my favorite part is: ctattggacttggaatcggatattggacacttggaatcggata
Man that's disgusting. Please keep your fantasies to yourself.
...zip it up...
zip it down ?
I am sick and tired ... lollipop. [/rant]
I am sorry but your comment do not validate. There is no start [rant] tag.
Since the infection rate is extremely high...
...the only reason that they did not have aids was or extreme luck (win powerball lottery everytime)
I thought the chance of transfer through sex was about 1 or 2 %, so not getting it is not exactly like winning the powerball lottery everytime.
So what word would you use for the style that manga is drawn in ?
Even if the average person has downloaded it 10 times, that still means over 10 million people are using it worldwide.
Download != using, it might just as well only be people trying it out and returnig to some other browser.
But the problem text do not say that the prisoners know about what K is, and thus it do not help them at all.
What if K is 7 345 678 345 127 654. Then they know that they will all die by age before reaching n+k anyway.
Don't start writing the riddle in the subject, at least without prefixing the body with ...
