    i run a multi user box yes. But only a few users, - me , my brother, and a few others. but i dont want to add fonts individually for each user.

    I keep seeing fonts which are expensive to buy.

    I don't think the device could really discern between a dirty bomb and other radiation sources
    Thats easy, if its a dirtybomb it detects the radiation. If its a joe regular "nuke" then it will detect the radiation for a breif momeant before being vaporised :-)

    Sir for you to suggest i would have anything to do with D&D is insult enough.
    I apologise about ruining the humour, i do run jokes through in my head many times to see which work better. Without the "do they advertise" bit it sounded slightly like i was being rude towards the parent post and i wasnt sure how to impress upon people that i was referring to their ammount of ads.
    Thanks for that anyway - i love thinking about comic presentation.

    As others have said, buy native - Quake 3 and The Sims for linux is where your money should go. Show the developers they can make money with linux :-)

    my desktop is 100% linux, i want to play games but i dont want to reboot into windows (this is used for some simple servers for my network)
    i dont want to kvm switch to another box to play games. I want linux to run games, alas it doesent and winex is the best thing around at the momeant to do it.

    the attraction to games workshop style games. My friend tried to get me into it. I enjoyed painting the overpriced plastic models with overpriced paint but then he took me to a game. My brain neary went into self destruct mode. After 3 hours of watching 30 people measure attack distances and squabble over bits of plastic i walked out and went home without saying a word to anyone.

    I will answer peoples questions (not specifically linux ones) but i do get angry when i tell someone how to find an answer and they say "oh just tell me how to do it" . Often reading through things i find out new things, ie reading through man shutdown to find out how to shutdown and reboot and also happend to find out how to shutdown at a specific time.

    . Though i suppose you run the same risk if you make a presentation on it - i guess they just hoped the company wouldnt notice ;-)
