Crap movies will get bad reviews very quickly and so a lot of movies dont even make a profit - the studios reduce budgets so only films with good plots get made - no junk like Dumb and Dumber'er Most movies become good and texting helps them flourish.....
The technology I'm waiting for is something that would efficiently convert heat energy into electricity. The way you say that is like its just another cool technology but infact its the holy grail of power generation.If someoen could find a way to turn ambient heat into energy the world power problems would be instantly solved
When the power went off, most of them didn't go around turning off their light switches, TVs, air conditioners or whatever else was running. Not to mention traffic lights, street lights, subways etc. Arnt most Air con's, tv's and computers these days digital so wont automatically re start when the power comes back on?
Id be interested as to which major services are down, things like Mobile phones, Tv stations, Websites So come on people list those downed services....
Ive seen only a few copy protected cd's and they didnt have the CD DA logo on:-( Cd's as you know usually have the logo in the inside around the edge of the plate of plastic which holds the cd. On these cd's (one of them was Robby Williams - Escapology) there was the indient rectangle where the logo should have been but no logo:-(
I mean, its the standard thing of it not being a physical thingt thats being stolen and also that the owner of the copywright it "Just a big moneymaking corporation" mentatlity which means people ignore copywright. Thats not to say i disagree, you can check the music on my computer;-)
doesent this guy have a vested interest in keeping people file swappin? as soon as all the "Digital Pirates" are gone he's out of business. So (just like the Anti Virus companies) he needs to keep a balance between sucking off the RIAA and not gettingt the file swappers below the critical mass it takes to form a growing community of pirates.....
I know about 5 people my age (17) who never watch tv, and theyre not particularly geeky either:-) But the web is definatly more important to them than TV

well exactly (i didnt reccomend a humidifyer i was origionally commenting on the fact a real A/C needs external venting)
ah hang on you said feed them water, then it was a swamp cooler not A/C (ie a humidifyer basically)
I think your supposed to put the hose outside or all the Unit does ultimatly is heat the room up.
