That's what they call them at the local hospitals. Maybe an inside joke of some sort. But in its essence it was an actually cellular phone rather than an actual magical banana endowed picked off a tree.
Sorry, it does look like a " do my job for me" question. Its not general enough to be of use to many other people. The fun way to do it, would be to run windows in a virtual machine and just back up the virtual hard drive at each stage. The whole confidentiality part makes me think you aren't doing it for good. But considering you are asking slashdot for advice, I'm not too worried that you'll succeed in doing anything that can't be undone.
I think what they are saying is that they are present in the sperm and/or egg along with the dna. That they don't come from dna. You could have two exact sets of dna, but different other molecules, which would result in different proteins being created. Those molecules must be create from dna at some point, but not with out the help of other pre-existing molecules of non dna. So DNA doesn't have all of the information needed to create everything in the cell.
Yes, but expensive and difficult to do without being noticed. The government feels it doesn't have to spend the money as it would be impossible for anyone else to do it with out them knowing well ahead of any successful recovery. Its like my credit card that's encased in cement at the bottom of a septic tank in a third world country.
Interesting. All of my info is second hand. It might just be a particular frequency that's problematic with a certain range of devices. And the banana phones might simply be restricted to work on a harmless frequency.
Check with your local Hospital geek. Doctors, nurses, social workers, pretty much everyone in a hospital still has one. They are starting to introduce a "cellular phone" into hospitals known by the local docs as a "banana phone" due to its yellow color that indicates its a special super-duper-won't-interfere-with-life-support-machines-phone as opposed to the iKill. But only the most important doctors have them right now, due to the advanced complexity of their magic.
Yeah, that's what made it so good. They didn't feel as if they had to sell me stuff. If a customer had a question, they'd ask and get a honest answer. Usually a " I don't know", but better than a " well, the name brand one that cost 50% more will make all of your dreams come true".
Yeah. I actually preferred Circuit city's layout. Which means it was probably worse. There was more open space to explore with less items to buy packed in. I also liked their car stereo department better. The people that worked there actually knew things about car stereos and installation was included in the purchase price. From my experience, they had better service as well. They didn't hassle people making a return. They also never had a salesmen telling customers lies about computer parts/ accessories.
So basically they were an honest business. Thus, doomed to bankruptcy.
Honestly why is anyone surprised when Google acts like a real company?
Because they seldom do. Most of their services and applications are for free. Plus, if you are a heavy user of adblocker, you don't see their adds either. So its easy to forget that they aren't a non-for profit at times.
yeah 100% true about the other parties. The first party that doesn't have complete morons running or representing it, gets my vote next time. But in the mean time, you still sound a tinge crazy to me. Prefixing a crazy rant with " i don't believe this but its interesting" does make it sound any less crazy nor does the " other people have said this too!" defense make it any more defensible. It sounds like you believe it and you want other people to believe it too while being able to deflect any criticism that you might receive from those who don't believe it. That may not have been your intention at all, but that's the way it appears. And this just goes to prove that crazy people never believe they sound crazy. I have good friends that sound like complete idiots when they try talking about obama. It revels so much more about their broken logic, then it does about obama.
You know you really are making libertarians sound awful. They seem to all have fanciful observations. And a lot of them have trouble telling them form reality.
They orally committed, I don't know the exact language of any contract they might have signed. But requiring OEMs to pay for windows on computers that only have OS2 on them was criminal.
yeah, that's true. Spy glass made out better making the deal than not. But at the same time, they had a revenue sharing agreement for every copy of ie sold. Then Microsoft made it a part of the os, but didn't consider purchases of windows to be ie sales. Shady.
Yeah, spyglass was pretty bad. They were in the height of their monopolistic behavior at the time. I never understood why they didn't either buy the company outright, or write their own. I guess it was easier just to screw over spyglass.
Yeah, I have a copy of the "Pirates of Silicon Valley" movie with Anthony Micheal Hall and Noah Wiley. I don't know how many times I have to post that I think they did us all a huge favor in creating a competing GUI that ran on cheaper hardware. I think everyone today would agree that windows 1,2,3 and even 95 were sufficiently different experiences than the Mac. You can't oppose Microsoft's patent threats against Linux, while being for Apple in that first confrontation.
Oh, Apple would have gone after MIT, had Microsoft not been there. What Microsoft did may have given them a year or two head start, but Apple still would have sued them, even if they had crossed every T and dotted every eye and I. Review the details of their claims again. Its freaking ridiculous. Can you imagine the crazy messed up world we'd be living in if they had completely prevailed in that lawsuit?

I would hope it would be an anatomically correct statue .. of Hemos .. getting eaten by a Shark .. that's being held by a bear.

And people die everyday at those hospitals that have non banana phone cells. Coincidence? I think not.
I was not aware of that song , before posting. but here's a better version of the song.

Well, its shaped for the hand, not like it. a subtle distinction.

Ok, but where does it stop?
(Useful) Stupid Linux commands? type "ls " to list the contents of the current directory!
(Useful) Stupid Window commands? The arrow on the screen moves in reaction to the movement of the small hand shaped device!
My main complaint with these stores is the only ifnormation being posted is really basic. Its not (Useful) Stupid as advertised.

Awesome! One of my foes defending my position! Will you be my friend now?

yeah, but all of that is a good thing. Its good there was competition. Apple was the evil one in that case. Full stop.
I don't want to explain it and I just know I don't want to experience it.
And besides Good code is self documenting, unless its awesome code. And if its awesome code, you should definitely use it.
