Yes, but you are doing it in a jerky way, You have to do it in a funny way. Good humor is a sign of high intelligence. People are trying to make themselves look smart and witty by using the meme. To show show how not smart they are, have to beat them at their own game, if you are going to play at all.

I think there should be a separate reading comprehension moderation score. Cause sometimes some people have great answers to questions that were never asked, and other times people have horrible responses to questions they didn't understand. Then each poster's reading comprehension score would let a casual reader filter visible responses by that, as well as rating the main moderation score accordingly.

Before he left he did he ran a script that found all strncat calls in the code base and also included his name right before checking it in. I knew about it and promised I wouldn't tell before he left, mainly because I didn't have the heart that his masterpiece of malcontent mischief could be undone with a single rollback. There should be some sort of investigation to see if the claims have any merit. If they don't, they don't and he's just a punk kid that should be disciplined with all of the consequences you listed. The allegations should still be looked into.

I didn't see anything in the story that even mentions any kind of investigation of the accusations.

Its hard to have sympathy for people that know they have a disability ( like hearing) and don't do anything to compensate. If you Know you cant hear the signal. You have to compensate by remembering to shut it off after use. But at the same time, I think I'm talking about some one other than yourself (probably projected annoyance at my GP) as you did get a hearing aid. Again, I have little sympathy for people who let pride compromise their safety as well as others.

This cost is brought on by a number of factors including labor costs ( as the industry changes its standards resulting in a smaller pool of potential employees),business growth ( if your software is critical to your business it should be improving in features and scalability), and talent retention ( go ahead keep your systems in Delphi 3, see how many applicants come a knocking and how many stick around.).

Now this doesn't mean you always upgrade to the flavor of the month, but you should look at potential losses as well as potential profits when making a tech decision.
