    You thought the book was good? L. Ron Hubbard started Scientology because he couldn't hack (poor choice of word there) it as a writer!

    I couldn't even dicuss it with my friends, we thought it was so bad. And we LIKED Plan 9 From Outer Space!

    They probably switched from Linux because a software package they needed to run was not available for Linux.

    An example from my last job would be Agilent Turbo*Chrom Chromatographic software, it's used for chemical analysis by HPLC, GC, or Capillary GC. A real necessity if you have to analyze 2 or 3 hundred samples a day.

    Last I looked it was not available for Linux. Only for MS Windows. And yes, it does require a MS network.

    Could you break out the Liturgical music into it's own section? I like the Russian and Byzantine music and that would make it easier to find, especially when you build up your catalog a bit. Thanks.

    I cruised around their classical section. They have some really good Byzantine and Russian Orthodox Church music. I'd like to see them set up a liturgical music classification.

    True. That's the reason for patents in the first place, to give inventors incentive to publish their inventions. The alternative, as the inventors of patents were all too aware, is guilds and their secrets. And guilds STIFLE invention (to the point of actually having killed people).

    No they are not open minded. They are thinking that if they allow the US to control their technology, then they'll get screwed.

    They are doing the same thing to the US that the US did to the British in the 1800's.

    This is a perfect example of long term strategic military thinking. You didn't really think the US won WW II because our soldiers were braver did you? The US won WW II by out producing the rest of the planet in terms of manufacturing.

    History shows that the richer country usually wins the war.
