Why?! Free votes, who wouldn't vote for someone offering something like free education, or massive loans to anybody. Then the schools know how much you're getting, and guess what, prices shoot up to match the max the government gives you.
Ron Paul Moves Into Second Place in Iowa AND New Hampshire
While Newt Gingrich attracts media attention as he moves up in national polls, Ron Paul is enjoying a surge of his own.
The Texas congressman has moved into second place in Iowa and New Hampshire, according to two Bloomberg News polls released this week. [HERE and HERE] In Iowa, he sits one point behind Herman Cain with 19 percent support, according to a poll released Tuesday. And a poll released Wednesday shows him at 17 percent in New Hampshire, far behind Mitt Romney (who has 40 percent support) but six points ahead of the third place finisher, Gingrich.
Paul's campaign has demonstrated organizational strength in his numerous straw poll victories. That ability to mobilize supporters could come into play on Jan. 3 in Iowa's caucuses.
After a fall?? So would a large pothole or unseen speedbump be cause for alarm? How much does it cost to get the batteries looked at and tested? Would the warranty cover such a thing?
If only a GOP candidate was running on the platform of limited government, personal liberty, deregulation, ending the federal reserve, and had a firm understanding of Austrian economics.
Capitalism’s about profit and loss
You bail out the losers there’s no end to the cost
In the Ron Paul thread everyone was bitching about the possibility of pruning back some of the government, then I come here and the government is the problem... I know, I know, one is federal and one is state. But I happen to see this a lot here.
All of these programs are good, or are good in spirit, but we simply don't have the money. We are nearing 200 billion dollars per month in deficit spending, that's 2.4 Trillion dollars per year, which we have to borrow and print to make up for. Would you get loans equal to 76% of your pay, per year to help your favorite charities?
People here bitch about games that are on Facebook, and the people that play them. Yet when someone asks Slashdot how they can recover a friend lost to games like WOW, the responses are quite different. "It's his life, he can do what he wants!" and "It's better than being at a party passed out drunk!"
Hey, anytime before pub16 was a good time in Ultima.
This would work perfectly with a series of (very small) tubes.

If I ran ATT I would give Sprint and MetroPCS 100% free and unrestricted access to my network. ;)
I'd be careful with the Ron Paul stuff, liberty and personal responsibility doesn't fly well here.

As punishment, they should have this young man sit down to a meal masticated by John Draper.
Woz was the phreak, Jobs may have been around but I don't think it was his cup of tea.
They might as well, as long as the Federal Reserve is around, money is worth less and less everyday.

The same thing our past fearless leader was smoking under the banner: "Mission Accomplished"
Yet it's happening under a totally different administration, *4* years after the leader you're referring to.
Let's hope Loki doesn't learn of this.

You mean like how the states did roads before Eisenhower gave us the modern Highway system?
Yes all the great things Eisenhower gave us, remember installing that shah, what a brilliant idea.

The iPad3, now with wings!
The Google Docs Spreadsheet Editor can do the same thing... http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/15799/how-to-use-autofill-on-a-google-docs-spreadsheet-quick-tips/
I'm sure Microsoft can afford a $5 wrench.

What if she were diabetic and her blood sugar was low?
Cloud computing? What if it rains? All our data will be flowing through the streets!
