If it had any kind of atmosphere it would likely be made up of iron and silicon vapor.
Interesting... it is said that silicon-based organic chemistry life is impossible because, unlike CO2, SiO2 is not a gas but a rock. Well, it seems now we have found a place where SiO2 actually is a gas...
Sodium Oxide is too low temperature, but I think Li2O might have potential. Does anyone know the triple point of Lithium Oxide?
We've had public schools (and public universities) since George Washington.
Public schools were established for the most part between 1840 and 1920, driven by state initiatives. Public Universities do go back to Washington, however. With Georgia getting one of the first ones in the 1780's.
That is a perfectly rational post. I wish that U.S. politics allowed for those type of actions. However, the U.S. is in bed with Israel. For a presidential election roughly 10% of the electoral votes require that the candidate support Israel, to not support Israel means an automatic write-off of those votes. Israel's current rhetoric seems to be that they would like to see Iran knocked back a couple of centuries.
Seriously, I like Israel, but it's like the girlfriend that picks fights with other men just to see you defend her honor.
I'm assuming that's why the word "seem" was in the sentence, to account for the possibility that his work is affected but there are no personality effects.
Although, you're talking about shift, which over time would put it further out of sync than it already is. I view that as a possibly good thing, then we can get rid of the timezones, and everyone uses GMT. That also means no more DST.
Where do you live that midday occurs at noon. The only guarantee is that midday and noon are within two hours of each other. This is due to timezones (roughly an hour wide) and daylight saving (shifting things off by an hour).
Anybody who doesn't own their own home cannot use at home fueling. This is one of the reasons why Electric vehicles are less popular than they should be (the other being the inability to take road trips). For any new fuel to reach the American public, fueling must be available from convenient commercial or government stations.
Demonstrating once again that dictionaries can't keep up. "Super power" is a phrase that's been in use at least 50 years, and does not really use any of the above definitions of super. A "super power" is an ability which normal humans do not possess.
I cannot be. The first reason is that I believe corporations need strong regulation in order to prevent them from screwing the general public. The second reason is that I believe taxation should be aggressively progressive to the point that salaries are for the most part only used for luxuries or buying better quality non-luxuries (itself a kind of luxury), the extra taxes would go to non-luxuries and shared infrastructure. The third reason is I think anything that uses shared infrastructure should have the infrastructure provided by the government.
As for SOPA and Republicans, I don't know how this will play out. Typically I find the internet to be left-leaning, but that's partly to do with the involvement of non-Americans (on average the American middle is to the right of the rest of the developed world) and partly to do with where I spend my time. My hope is that getting more involved in something like this would shift Republicans more towards libertarianism (which means I still wouldn't vote for them, but we would have less regulation of personal freedoms). I tend to support the Democratic party, but they tend to drop the ball on some issues. My problem is that outside of Vermont there is no significant left party other than the Democratic party.
The issue with H-1B visas is frequently the people aren't immigrants in the sense that they aren't planning to stay. So they will not bring their family here (where they might help the economy), but instead send the money back home. Now, if the H-1B visa led to permanent residence or citizenship, that would be different.
No, the judge indicated that if it was within the warranty period of the product this would have more merit, but the update fell outside the warranty dates for all consoles which had the OtherOS feature.
No, the real sad thing is that the processor in the PS4 is likely to be substantially different from the processor in the PS3, enough that they would have to do the same types of things they did to get backwards compatibility working between the PS3 and PS2. That means, we could reasonably expect the PS4 to start with compatibility, but lose it at some point in the future.
Number 2 was dismissed as a reason by the judge because it was substantially after the warranty period, so Sony would have no obligation to perform said repairs.
I think the confusion is over 238.3(c). Best Buy frequently advertises things which are limited, which without this clause would fall under bait and switch as you defined it in your OP (which is more broad than the actual law).
From the judge's order:Users who chose not to
download the update lost access to PSN and would not be able to use any future games, Blu-ray
video discs, or other features that might require the update to have been installed.
However, during his reasons for allowing the dismissal he only talks about PSN, and forgets about the Blu-ray and future games. That might be enough for someone to appeal, but ianal.
Only if you want to do it in a reasonable amount of time. If time (or a resource that can be substituted for time, like labor) is not a constraint, then you can brute force it.

Sorry for replying to myself, but apparently the above post is replying to the wrong post. So, yeah...

If it was sold, Apple couldn't legally make copies. Ergo it has to be licensed to Apple. IANAL
Maybe they're Eastern-European illegals?
It's probably not that useful now, but there's some interesting personal information in the linked FBI file, the one that caught my eye was his SSN.
I'm a libertarian at heart

Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act of 2011, the Senate counterpart to SOPA.
the above spells PROTECT IP Act, which becomes PIPA.

Or that even if you read it you can't alter it if you wish to purchase the product.
