    Chinese space program is part of their military. The fact that none chinese were NOT allowed to see the inside of these space stations says a lot. The answer is absolutely NOT.
    And Chinese space program is NEITHER fast growing or STRONG (yet).

    OTOH, America has not only brought in multiple partners and brought them up to speed with working together in space, Europe, Canada, Japan, South Korea, etc have some level of experience
    And to this add that America now has multiple launch companies and is moving forwards with multiple private space stations. These will be used to not only help more nations develop their space programs, BUT, also get us to the moon and mars.

    Why do you say that? So far human launch will costs far less than what Soyuz has over the same time frame. And once we start re-launching humans, per seat costs will be a great deal less than soyuz.

    then wrong.
    New Private space is normally a great deal cheaper than Russia. It is old private space that is more expensive.
    In addition, SpaceX is close to being on track for start of 2018, so not a big deal.

    we already have the full plans for the 180. And there is ZERO reason to do that.
    Actually we CAN produce this economically, but not against a nation that has their money in the crapper.
    Also, there is no reason to go further with it. BO and SpaceX will have far more powerful engines using methane shortly.

    You obviously do not understand the russians.
    there is no dirty mail that will make russians vote against Putin.
    What will make them do that, is if Putin tries to put back in place with totalitarian system, or if their economy continues to stay collapsed.
    It is this later that is very likely going to cause another person to replace him. Hopefully, the next time, they will modify their constitution to say no more than 2 terms. period.

    There are a few blind spots, but in general those are in the mountains.
    In addition, I suspect that once spacex gets their constellation going, tesla will flip to using that.

    you miss the point. The Tsara is WAY TOO BIG. If you throw it and it fails, then you are in deep trouble. OTOH, if you throw a number of small ones you can target your damage, and avoid the extra deaths that Tsara has. In addition, building just a few is expensive. Building a number of small ones is much cheaper and better.

  20. yeah, my wife is sold on Tesla GPS. Prior to her buying it, she tried her iphone from work, her personal android, and even bought a seperate GPS (i forget which one). In the end, she always had me give her directions. Not any more. Now, all she wants is her tesla. And just to go a lousy 5, or even 50 miles, she will use that. it is almost insane.

  21. My wife absolutely LOVES using the GPS in her Tesla. It routes and re-routes the car based on traffic. In addition, it gives it verbally, as well as lays out the map on the main screen, along with the dashboard display.

    There is NOTHING else on the market that even comes close to how user-friendly the Tesla GPS is.

    Without the manned missions, cost of space access would increase. In addition, robotics would be held back. Finally, there is more at stake than just science.
