What is needed is to restore some of the regulations that we put in place after Great depression, but reagan removed. In particular, it is long past time to block executives from buying/acquiring publically traded stock in the industry they are working. Iow, if they jump into a publically traded company, then no more obtaining stock/options, etc. They can, and more importantly, should, get employee stock.
In addition, time to quit taxing corporate profits, but all dividends, bonuses, etc will be taxed at same rate as all else. Why? Because right now, corporations attempt to hide perks like cars, limos, etc.

WIth Tesla, we have the most important controls on the steering wheel which controls the fan, loudness, radio station/track, phone calls, etc.
With the side screen, I use it mostly to see the back cam.

Look at the controls on the dragon. The most important one is EJECT. The craft does the rest, though you can certainly take control if needed/wanted. But why would you? The only place that you will get buffeting will be in the lower atmosphere. Once in space, nothing. If docking and then taking control, the pilot will be looking at the instruments on the touch screens. IOW, they will be looking right where the controls are. Issue solved.
Seriously, this can really help ONCE we have stopped adding massive CO2 to the atmosphere. Until we stop the fossil fuels, esp coal, this will not make sense.
Best way to help the poor is create jobs that pay well. Last night I saw Domino's was hiring drivers for 15-20/hr. Local McDonald's is hiring at 12/hr. Plenty of jobs available.
