But that would need support from old and new operating systems alike. Unless this protocol was bundled with the games it may be more trouble than it was worth.
My isp support people when P2P apps dont work. They do this because if they blocked it their customer base would go down, and they know it. The same situation might apply here where their customer base may go down if their 'leet haxor' users found out they couldnt pretend to be microsoft.com.
Good to see that an actual error was found with the program - It might make developers think twice before using their bloated propriatary, closed, middleware that is all but designed to lock out other browsers like all seeing eye.
Wow. I can now feel really good that I pay the money-grabbing RIAA for just plain using the internet. I wonder who will be able to charge us through the backdoor next, Microsoft?
It the images are not loading (reliably), the pages come out slow, but the generation time (bottom left) has never been over 3ms. Perhaps its a bandwidth problem they have.
Perhaps a new breed of WiFi 'hackers' will be born who instead of obtaining sensitive information from computers simply delete the firmware of every fridge in the neigbourhood.

The server will still return some data to the effect of 'no players' - albeit of a lesser size.
So.... you reported it a year ago and it has only become a 'mainstream security' issue this week. Interesting.
Beautifully off-topic

Paid ads that dont interrupt normal results (really). I hope thats the stance Jeeves takes.
If I posted this on my isp's webspace I would be the one to get in shit, not the ISP so forcing them to close down.
Its another case of a big company killing off an enemy/rival who cannt fight back, and the world will be worse for it.
Now that wouldnt be a bad thing would it?
We are having major server problems at the moment. Something is up - we will fix this ;)

Thanks for the info. *heads off to download*

GTA3 has copy protection on it. You cannt back it up without a 'good' cd burner and software which copys the cd EXACTLY
An audio cd should be compatible with any and all hardware and software that it is designed to play them.
If it does not, IT SHOULD NOT BE RELEASED.
